Hayward and Martin out will hurt Hornets. Big questions will be can the Pacers

a) defend their remaining shooters
b) rebound
c) control game tempo
d) stop Oubre from 3
e) keep Ball from beating them

Last year I remember the high scoring game that the Pacers lost barely. These points I mentioned were reasons they couldn’t pull off a win.

I’m surprised that the Hornets are 4-11 honestly.

I’m predicting a win based on our recent play.

Yeah I totally spaced them losing one of their best players in Bridges.

Didn't see Nembhard being the starter with Duarte out, but he's been solid and it keeps the second unit intact.

Haliburton had 11 assists, I think at least 4 of them were on Turner

It's good to see the two of them gel

I think I could have given how easy the schedule has been. Our strength of schedule at it's best has been 23rd and at worst dead last. I think we are 26th right now. With those next 3 games we would have to be dead last.

I'll be shocked if we can maintain it when we ramp up the difficulty. Even just the schedule itself gets harder now. Like 12 games in 25 days or something.

**EDIT** I am okay with Mathurin coming off the bench, but what is up with the 21 minutes? Only had 1 foul. Defensive issues, I guess? I am on vacation so I only kinda was paying attention? With Duarte out I figured 30-32 minutes. Guess not.

I have the feeling, Carlisle has all players on minute restriction, almost every night he plays 10 or 11 players.
Max minutes just 30 and minimum around 12 to 15.

That is also to me what makes Tyrese leading the league in assists even more impressive.

And then we go on the road for seven. That will be roughly the quarter point of the season. Hit the road at 10 and 6, win 4 or 5 on the road then see what the vibe between Tyrese and Myles looks like.
