Not a Colts fan but figured it was big enough news for those who are Colts fan. Hope this coach can bring them back to where Manning and Luck had them.

Now they need to draft a good QB. No disrespect intended towards the recent guys, as they were all good at one time, but this "end-of-their-career" binge the Colts have been on has to end.

I'm just hoping that they don't trade up and just pick the best QB available. Why is Bryce Young better than CJ Stroud or Will Levis? I don't see that much difference.

I see a huge difference between Stroud/Young and Levis myself. I expect Stroud/Young to be decent right away. Levis/Richardson are going to take some time.

Honestly, if you don't get Stroud or Young, I'd prefer waiting for Williams or Maye next year. As I think they would both be the best QB in this draft. If you draft Levis/Richardson, I think you're still going to be awful and have a shot at the crop next year anyway, then be tempted to take one of those guys even if you have Levis or Richardson.

His answers at the presser were good except I wish he'd delegate play calling. Staff hires will be interesting.

There is a Colts forum but it never took off

That’s how I see it too. But it never works out that way. I can’t think of a draft where the top three prospects all turned out about the same. My recall is that two of the top three bust.

I see it that way, but I acknowledge it's very unrealistic. There's so much risk there, from teams finding those guys weaknesses or injuries in college before the draft. We will take a QB, and if we have a shot at a better one next year adjust accordingly.

IDK about the rest of you guys but I don't really like any of the top 4-5 QB's in this draft. A couple of them may end up being good starters in the NFL, but I don't want to spend high picks on them. Richardson had a great combine from all the guys I talked to when it was going on, but he looks like a WR or RB more than a QB. His college passing numbers were not that great.

I'd take a defensive player and look for a QB in round 3-4, I like Stetson Bennett from GA if they're picking an undersized guy, he did win 2 consecutive NCAA National Championships.

Something tells me that the Ravens are not gonna be able to get Lamar Jackson signed, let it get past the draft day and then try to make a deal for less than the 2 #1 picks the non-exclusive Franchise tag requires.

I'd say rounds 5-7, but I do agree he's underrated.

I'm fine with the top QBs although I have Levis a distant 4th and am not excited about Hooker.

I really like the GA TE, Washington, who could be there at 35, but I don't see any mocks agreeing with me. I think he'd do more to fix the run game than a rookie guard.

I'd go DE/Edge with the 1st pick, then a OT with 2nd then there are 2 3rd round picks more defense then 4th round pick Bennett, then just best available. Bennett might not be the answer probably not. But I think this team made a huge mistake when they traded Carson Wentz and traded for Ryan. The problem with Ryan is he runs about like I do and I'm 60 yrs old. They should have given Wentz another season couldn't have worked out any worse than 2022 did with Ryan.

If the Ravens can't sign Jackson and no one else does he might be able to be had for less than the 2 #1's if the Ravens match the offer sheet.

The guy I like is the the USC QB Caleb Williams but he won't be there till next year.
