Final Ten Games
Since we haven't had threads for the last couple of games, I'll create one for the home stretch.
First game in Toronto. We started the Canadians - Nembhard, Mathurin, and Brissett.
We won and Chicago lost to Philly.

Re: Final Ten Games
Rather torn, but preferring to shut down
Hali for the season, give PT to the young
guys, and secure a high lottery pick.
If we just go by league standings, as of today
we'd be picking No. 8. Factor in the ping pong
balls, we could prob slide into the Top 5.
This season pretty much revealed our core
and we've built chemistry around that.
Let 'em progress to playoff experience next
year, then, hopefully, deeper the years after.

De nada. We only post a handful of messages in an individual game threads so separate threads hardly matter.

Still engaging in the futile exercise of projecting where Pacers, Wizards, Raps and Bulls will land. This morning I’d say we will land where we are. Not quite making the playin. Drafting in the 8-10 range.

Re: Final Ten Games
There are only a few of us Pacers fans on RealGM so not a lot of activity here. Over on the Raptors board they had a game thread on the last game with 45 pages. Should have heard the crying about losing to the Pacers at home!
There was a lot of "Why didn't we get Nembhard too.

this is why I don't think we need separate threads for each game. we rarely go more than one page.
I'll add that I've stayed here for years precisely because the signal to noise ratio is so high. I'm glad we don't have to wade through that many pages several times a week.

I've been here about a year longer than you but I know you had another account with a different name so maybe you have a few on me. There is a lot of Buffoonery on the T&T and I have to restrain myself from mocking them too hard. I got my step son to stop using my account to post, I think he made his own. He got me suspended 3-4 times! That boy is worse than me when it comes to making fun of fools.

That is absolutely classic. Like an episode from some sit-com.
"No Dad. It wasn't me. You made that post. You just don't remember because you had a few beers last night."
I can imagine a hilarious discussion going on. Especially when you try to explain it all to the moderators.

at first I had an account with my name instead of a handle. I joined when the sports forum on CompuServe was dying at the recommendation of a Dutch fan.

Yeah he's 31 now but he's stayed with me off and on over the years and likes to get on my computers and just see what he can do. The one I use now is password protected, and he has his own lap top he uses. I don't know if he ever signed up here or not. He got me banned from Twitter, and a few other sites. He just really likes to argue.

Tonight’s game vs Mavericks so far Tyrese, Myles, Duarte, and Buddy all out.

Putting on a last-ditch attempt at a better draft position?
Probably too late, if that is the purpose.

Or, just don’t want the draft position to get any worse.

Re: Final Ten Games
Pacers first half poor shooting, poor defense, look out of sync on offense. 2 for 13 from 3 range ! Maybe I take back trading Buddy

Re: Final Ten Games
No Hali, no Buddy and no Turner, looks like they're mailing it in. May as well play the young guys.

I think Carlisle would put it the other way and say the decision is to play the younger guys for development and to enlighten off season decisions. That it results in losses may be secondary. But the Atlanta loss coupled with Chicago wins has me calculating magic numbers to clinch a lottery spot.

Re: Final Ten Games
Bucks coming to Indy tonight. With us beating them in Milwaukee recently I have to wonder if a beat down payback is a priority ?
Possibly just simply beat us because we’re shorthanded, they’re better, and we are soft tanking ?
So far Tyrese and Duarte are no go.

Re: Final Ten Games
It's halftime and we're hanging with the Bucks. I switched away to watch the new Mandalorian episode but it hasn't helped the Bucks. We need an L.
