Will be interesting to see how we adjust to the last time we faced the Bucks. Giannis went off for 54 points - can we contain him better this time? Lillard wasn't playing in our last matchup - how will we adjust to defending him? Should be a good game!

Good first quarter only down 2 points 29-27. Looks like a few players are a bit unsettled on offense. Subs showed more defense than the first unit. Good to see Carlisle getting more players involved.

Great second quarter out scoring the Bucks 36-22. Making the Bucks play up tempo is working out well.

Toppin, Turner, McConnell, I Jax, and Haliburton providing the scoring. Nesmith, McConnell spearheading the defense which has been very good since the subs came in and all throughout the second quarter.

Giannis will get his playing fast, but the pace is our advantage. Hopefully more Pacers get involved in the offense in the second half.

Pacers would be up more but the 3 point shots aren’t falling yet. 25% so far and 50% from 2. Bucks 33% and 43% from 2.

Haliburton is putting on a point guard clinic in this one 15 asst and zero turnovers.

Heading to the championship. I hope Nembhard is just sore and that it’s not serious. Was great winning a game with gritty determination when not everyone was having a good game. Teamwork

Reflecting on the game I think the officiating was very good for the contest. Game never seemed out of control as some officiating crews are constantly reviewing play after play and game gets chippy. Maybe it’s also because of both teams playing a pretty clean game.

Besides the obvious, such a great game from Nesmith. Incredible defense by him tonight i thought. He finished with 6pts in 27 minutes and a +16 which was second highest on the team to Mathurin's +17. Also underrated was Jackson, 16 strong minutes in a game they needed size, he got 6 rebounds and just 1 foul. He was a +14.

Nembhard and Brown provided clutch scoring when the team wasnt shooting well and it seemed like the Bucks were on the verge of breaking the game away.

Another thing that was impressive is how patient the Pacers were. The 3 point shots were not falling for them and the Bucks played great perimeter defense. The Pacers took the bait and started to score easy buckets from close up.

Super stoked about this win. Rese really having his coming out party during this ist.

Congrats on the win, you guys definitely deserved it. Haliburton is the real deal and playing like a true superstar at the moment. Btw, your next opponent is rematch of 2000 finals against the Lakers. Your team couldn’t take down Shaq/Kobe but this rematch will be different in a single elimination winner takes all including a nice trophy. Not sure if this trophy means much like nba title, but in a decade everyone will be talking about this rematch and what the in-season tournament brings to the table.

The one game stat that no one, national or local, is mentioning is who the game's top rebounder was. It wasn't any of the bigs from the Bucks, nor was it Turner. It was Hield with 11 rebounds. Not too bad.
