Second night of a back to back. Should be a very competitive game and winnable if they defend Jazz’s shooters. Markkanen, Sexton, Clarkson, Kessler, Collins are a talented bunch.

Utah has figured it out since we last played them.

First meeting was at Indy 134-118 Pacers win.

Nesmith 24 points
Turner 22 points
Mathurin 22 points 9 rebounds
Smith 16 points 11 rebounds
Haliburton 16 points 13 assists 6 rebounds
Nembhard 9 points 7 assists
Brown 9 points

Disappointing stats
Hield 10 points on 4-16 and 2-12 from 3
Toppin 6 points
I Jax DNP
McConnell DNP

Lose Haliburton stats and currently Brown and Nesmith are game time decisions.

As the rotation was tight in November tonight I expect much better from Hield, Toppin, Jackson, and McConnell as they’ve been getting consistent playing time.

They absolutely have thus a tough competitive matchup tonight. I’m still hopeful of a close win.

This hurts a bunch.

McConnell didn’t play first game so he will cover Brown’s minutes and some defense output.

I really don’t think anyone can replace Nesmith’s defense or offense.

Jazz extended the lead to 64-50 at halftime after being ahead 6-8 points most of the half.

Pacers are having issues defending the bigs and not fouling. Both Turner and I Jax with 3 and Smith with 2.

Very hectic and sloppy play so far. Pacers losing on 15-6 fouls, rebounds 26-19, and FG % 53-40.

Have to play better defense second half or this becomes a 20 point loss.

Unbelievable careless play by Myles to pick up foul 4 and 5 in first minute of the second half. Could have avoided the 5th. :banghead:

Good move to sit Mathurin and not worsen his sprained ankle.

I wasn't able to watch tonights game, but this Jazz team is different then the team we played. Not sure what happened there, to be honest i dont even think ive seen one Jazz game besides our matchup earlier in the season but they're 15-4 after tonights win in their last 19 games. They have 8 wins in 2024, no team has more then 6. (Pacers actually have 6).

Any update on Mathurin or Jackson?
