What’s next after the Siakam trade

It's no secret that the Pacers are actively shopping Buddy Hield and up until 48 hours ago, if you'd ask anyone who will be traded by the trade deadline anyone who follows this team closely would predict Hield. I think many were caught by surprise he wasn't included in the deal for Siakam. But, one thing that makes me wonder is, besides Hield still being on the roster is, the news that Pacers were trying very hard to land BOTH Siakam and OG from Toronto.
And here's a interesting tidbit from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype:
Following the acquisition of Pascal Siakam, rival executives applauded Indiana’s ability to retain young assets Bennedict Mathurin, Jarace Walker, Obi Toppin, Andrew Nembhard, and Ben Sheppard, along with the expiring contract of Buddy Hield.
The result, however, creates a logjam within Indiana’s frontcourt, with Jalen Smith, Toppin, and Walker competing for limited playing time behind Siakam.
Given Indiana’s newfound frontcourt conundrum and the notion outside the organization that Hield would eventually be moved to give Mathurin, Nembhard, and Sheppard more playing time looking ahead, rival executives believe the Pacers could make another trade to bolster their team before the deadline.

Enjoying the show

.
Keep looking for more opportunities. Having both Haligod and Siajezus, it will be easier to say no to teams and players trying to exploit us.
Our 4 power forwards with potential will also have to raise their game to the next level, to remain on this championship team.

I was listening to the Zach Lowe podcast, both Bill Simmons and Lowe suggest Pacers might not be done making deals. Lowe suggested that now that Pacers have Siakam they could be looking to trade Obi Toppin for a pick which they could flip in a different deal.

How about Black Moses (Isaac Hayes)?
(For anyone not familiar, Black Moses was a 1971 album by the late Isaac Hayes. Music fans will know that and remember his song Shaft. Non music fans may remember him from a few Rockford Files episodes as Gandolf Fitch, who always referred to Garner as Rockfish. And that is today's lesson in useless trivia.)

Ha! You mean the movie that the song was created for? The original with Richard Roundtree was very good.

There was a great 1970's show with Richard Roundtree as Shaft, he was in the movie with Samuel L. Jackson as his Uncle.
"Who's the black private dick that's a sex machine to all the chicks?"
(Shaft)
You're damn right
Who is the man that would risk his neck for his brother man?
(Shaft)
Can you dig it?
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
(Shaft)
Right on
They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother...
(Shut your mouth)
But I'm talkin' 'bout Shaft
(Then we can dig it)
He's a complicated man
But no one understands him but his woman
(John Shaft)"

Non-music fans should remember him as “Hammer” in I’m Gonna Git You Sucka.
