Pacers host Blazers

Post#1 » by joew8302 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 12:22 am

I apologize if I am stepping on anyones toes, but I didn't see a topic so I thought I would start one.

Pacers up 16-12 MDJ and Granger playing well early. Junior went down though after a layup, I think he will be ok though.

Harrison getting some more early minutes. This kind of scares me and makes me think Indiana is going to bring Harrison back next year. If Indiana is dead set on Harrison not playing for them next year why not give these minutes to Diogu or Williams while letting Foster or Murphy play center? Hopefully I am wrong and they are showcasing David for a possible trade, but I really can't see too many teams knckin on Indiana's door about acquiring David.

20-20 after one. Indiana is playing good defense, that just felt weird to type. Also, there are people in seats, which is weird too. Tune in if you can, looks like a good game is shaping up.

27-22 Pacers up. Granger is on fire and has it 4 threes. He looks unusually aggressive tonight, which I love to see. Harrison has also came in and been active on D and finished a few shots.

Maybe there aren't other teams asking, we're just trying to get them to take him on with O'Neal and would rather get more than give more for adding him in.

I hope you are right. I guess my whole thing is that it doesn't make sense for him to get these minutes unless we are fairly certain he will be on the roster next year.

As I watched this game I think I have come to realize more what I don't like about Diener. He should be a guy that shoots either wide open jumpers, or jumpers at the end of the shot clock. My biggest issue with him is his willingness to take contested jumpers with 15 seconds on the clock. He is not that good of a shooter, and the Pacers could get a better shot. I am really starting to like his passing and vision, I do wish he would be more selective with the shot.

True a good first half means nothing if you can't close it out in the second, but id still rather have a god first half than a bad one!

so far he have come out strong, would be nice to beat a good team, maybe it can get us on some kinda roll,we need one bad, a nice little 6 or 7 game win streak would be great.

Yes he is. He won't be back this game, but I really don't think this is too serious.

Jeff does play with alot of heart, even thou I hate it when he's shooting from the top of the key,but it does seem he's hitting that shot a little more.

Yep, been a Pacer fan for over 10 years. It has been rough lately, but it is good seeing a strong performance every now and then.
