What happens if an all-star gets traded to the opposing team for example Dwight Howard gets traded to the Lakers. Would Howard still play for the East or would he play for the West or not play at all? I was thinking about this the other day. Thanks.

i remember hearing talks about say a jason kidd getting traded to dallas...espn said that it would be dealt with on a situation to situation basis by the league office
