Disclaimer: Seeing as people are struggling with reading comprehension and have never been exposed to scarcasm, this post is sarcasm, and a pipe dream, i am not suggesting in any way that this will happen or that any gm will be crazy enough to pull the trades off. So do not blast me with replies saying that trade will never happen, BECAUSE I KNOW. IT IS A HOPELESS WISH.
Here is my wish for thursday:
So it is the nfl offseason, and ricky williams decides he wants to travel the country so see which state has the best mary j. so he fianlly makes his way to portland and decides to catch a blazer game. at the game the owner and gm see him and invite him to the suite, where Ricky shares his good stuff with them. Finally they all get high, when at the exact moment, Larry Bird calls to tell the gm he is rejecting the offer for Danny Granger. ( that is the rumor). At that moment he hears ricky in the back ground and asks wtf is going on. The gm tells him ricky is watching the game with them and Bird decides to take a gamble. He says he feel bad that that bastard Donnie walsh screwed them over when he gave portland Dale Davis for Jo, says he wants to right the wrong and give JO back. he also states he is willing to take on Raef Lafrentz big contract since he enjoys trading for big white stiffs. so they make a trade.
JO
for
Greg Oden
Raef Lafrentz.
Bird asks to speak on the phone with ricky williams and he tells him he is sending the SImon's private jet and that oden and lafrentz would keep jim company, but also tells Ricky that he must leave all his "leaves" with the owners and the gm of Portland. He also goes on to tell Ricky that he is being sent to NY to meet with Isiah who happens to have the best stuff in NYC which is why he has been able to make all those sly moves that turned the Knicks into contenders. the jet makes a pitt stop in Indy where Jammal Tinsley and Stepehn Graham get on board. then the plane arrives in NYC, where they all go to knicks game sitting behind the Knicks bench. Tinsley pulls out two brown envelopes, one that contains weed that was collected by police from Tinsley and Williams car, the other contains Harrison secret stuff. Of course ricky start smoking and isiah recognizes that smoke and invites him to have some of his stuff after the game. Bird calls at the right time and apologizes for firing him and makes a trade with ISIAH THOMAS
tinsley, graham, future 2nd rd pick
for
malik rose, NYC 1st rd pick only top 3 protected.
after that trade goes down bird quickly call bill polian and tells him about how great ricky williams is, and Ninja Bill decides to call parcells to get ricky released from miami. he says he wants ricky to be rewarded for his outstandin service in indy. parcells agree and bill gets ricky a workout with patriots. where ricky and moss get along great and breakdown the chemistry of the patriots.
of course bird is not done yet, after those two trades he trades with memphis
ike, daniels
for
miller
now pacers miss playoffs but were competitve, and in the lottery they get first pick overall. nyc gets the 4 pick overall. SO on draft day we draft ERIC GORDON as our future pg., then we trade our 4th rd pick for the 11th pick overall and a first rd pick next year. with 11th pick we draft Hibbert from georgetown
new lineup
Gordon/Diener/Owens
Williams/Miller/Rush
Granger/Dunleavey/Rose
Hibbert/Lafrentz
Oden/Foster/Murphy
Note: this is all my fantasy, and dream, i know none of this will happen but i must have some hope. I cannot go on like this, our team sucks, this is just my hopeless hope mixed with sarcasm

serioulsy is reading comprehension a problem in indiana
I stated it twice in my post that this was my dream and hope and
i know it would never happen, i also implied the trades wiere riduculous by having the gm being high while making trades, some people cant even sense sarcasm if it was written on a waring above.

I don't think insulting Indiana is a great idea on this board...and the one with the comprehension problem might just be the one that posted a trade idea with no link, the reason at least two threads in the last week have been locked. I have nothing against you, but don't assume anything about me because of where I'm from, especially if you're going to do exactly what you're accusing us of.

Humorous at the least.
I appreciated it.

dude i grew up in indiana, love indiana, having said just because i lived in indiana does not mean i can not speak out against problems facing indiana, there is a thing called freedom of speech. and i'm not insulting indiana just stating a fact that their schools especially inner city schools in indianapolis are sturggling.
And for the love of god THESE AREN'T REAL TRADE PROPOSALS OR RUMORS BUT RATHER SATIRE, SEEEING AS I HAVE LOST HOPE FOR THE SEASON. THESE ARE FICITONAL SENARIOS what part of that do you not understand

I'm wondering if some people are less than receptive to your overall motif here due to the following statements:
COLTSnPACERS wrote:Seeing as people are struggling with reading comprehension and have never been exposed to scarcasm,
and the follow up:

It tends to have a dampening effect on the humor when you basically tell the audience, "Hey, this is a joke, but you're probably too stupid to get it, so just shut up and laugh when I tell you."

ficitional senarios for one part... (fictional scenarios, perhaps?)
I don't know, some people don't like stupidity on these boards, and for some, your first post was quite stupid.
Speaking of freedom of speech, why then, can't we criticize you for your posts? Double standard, anyone?
I doubt you were being sarcastic when you insulted the reading comprehension of the state of Indiana (haha what a generalization), and why must you insist that we take this sarcastic post sarcastically? If we go back to your freedom of speech argument, which you seem to love, why is it then wrong for us to criticize this post? We have no right because you are joking?
Haha. Just pointing out some logical flaws.
Anyway, my dream is that I wake up and find out that we traded Diogu and Quis + filler for Miller/Lowry, JO sits for the rest of the season and fully heals his knee for next year (we'll trade Diener for a guarantee on that to oh...some Russian team for their special knee doctors), and that we traded Graham for a better basketball brain for Tinsley. (Graham + the brain of Tins for the basketball brain of...Bill Walton?)

Gotta say Dark, we usually disagree but I agree with what you said. My dream is getting Miller, let JO sit out for next year, use draft pick wisely, and we truely have a good team.

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

No matter what, we all have the same priorities for this team. =)
Of course, I have a feeling we'll disagree on the draft pick (who we should pick) heavily.

Don't lie Coltsn'Pacers, you ran across some of Ricky's sticky icky. Which explains the deep rambling in your post.

I'm from Boston, and I know you were sarcastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed your post, but I'm sorry that you misread my sarcasm as stupidity and iliteracy. However, I'm sure that other people on this board can attest to my writing style, so, if I was misread, again, my bad. I didn't mean to get you angry at Indiana.
