David Harrison Erupts After Pacers' Loss
The Indianapolis Star -
Indiana's David Harrison was hit with a technical foul late in the fourth quarter against the Spurs on Thursday night and erupted in the locker room afterward, according to the Indianapolis Star.
He was hit in the face by Matt Bonner in the final minute, and Bonner was called for an offensive foul on the play.
Harrison didn't think the incident was over though, repeatedly making threats and yelling at Bonner until Pacers coach Jim O'Brien pulled him from the game. Soon after he was sent to the locker room.
"I subbed for him and somebody on the bench made a decision to send him to the locker room; it wasn't me," O'Brien said. "You shouldn't get technical fouls if you're David Harrison. I subbed for him, so his night was over."

Apparently he was upset about San Antonio's lack of Kinetico Water

LOL yeah he's one of the guys Larry Bird is gonna kick out. I bet we'll see a whole new roster for next season. This guy is a hot head.

Well all this aside, the only personal experience I had with David Harrison was that he sat a couple rows in front of me at a Dave Matthews concert. I saw him directly in our sight line and though "crap, no we won't be able to see anything."
However, during the show, he never stood all the way up, leaning against his seat, careful to do the best not to block the view of those behind him (though it was occasionally unavoidable).
The girl he was with was pretty hot, too.
So, while I don't think much of him as a Pacer, I have a great deal of respect for him as a fellow DMB concert-goer. (Particularly since I now know he can score a "taste of what's mellow".)

I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

I think we should just release this hot-head, TODAY!!!
Just like hitting a golf shot into the slow-ass 4-some ahead of you - you'd be "sending a message". A message to the team, the fans, & the NBA that TPTB have had it & we won't take it. David is a FA at yrs end anyway, so the "cost" is minimal. Just do it if nothing else for the message it sends. I seriously the move would be met w/ anything but approval from our fan base.

Looks like it's a one-game suspension for the Hulkster.
link
That seems pretty harsh, suspending the guy for one-twentieth of his remaining time with the team.

What in the world is going on with the Pacers? Tinsley and O'Neal are always hurt, there are constant problems with players not controlling themselves or putting themselves in bad situations and there is pretty much no talent on the roster aside from Granger.
They made a horrific trade with Golden St., now have Dunleavy and Murphy on average for more than 20 million per year over the next 3 seasons. Add O'Neal's salary and that's over 40 million on three players for the next two seasons. O'Neal's stock has dropped way down so I'm not sure who they could get for him.
Man I hope they turn this around. I'm a Cavs fan, but Reggie Miller was my favorite basketball player ever. It's just weird to see Indiana failing in almost every aspect of general management.

Harrison is a scab, I hate that loser. Back when Indiana was playing Boston in the playoffs (I support the Celtics) there was some back and forth between the fans and the bench. Harrison was the worst of the bunch, he wanted to fight me (seriously!) and as such I ended getting kicked out of the game (the only time thats ever happened). Back then he was even more of a scrub than he is today, the only action he got was arguing with a bunch of fans sitting behind his bench.
When is he going to disappear, talk about undeserving of an NBA contract...
ps what's up with the lack of support from your fans? I thought Indiana was supposed to be a basketball mecca. Sort of sad how little love is being shown.

Don't take it personally. He wants to fight everybody.

Eh, I think right now it's a little bit more of the fans standing up to some of the hypocrisy's we've heard for several years and simply wanting management to clean house. Do the fans that are a little more cerebral want to get rid of every Pacer but Danny Granger? Not necessarily. There are some other quality guys on the roster like Foster. But, we do want the franchise to start making realistic, smart, active decisions to try and finally turn this wronged ship around.

Same can be said about Boston. What type of fans do the Celtics have? Before this season, they struggled 4 seasons in a row with attendance, by average having 15% of the arena empty. At one point, it was even 20%. Doesn't look well for their fans.

I think that us Pacer fans have supported the team. We do love the Pacers plenty, but we're sick of losing and bad behavior. Just 3 or 4 yrs ago the Pacers were an elite team favored to go to the finals. We require a house cleaning I don't care if we only win 22 games next season give me Danny, Dunleavy, Foster and Ike and 10 or 11 youngsters. Then we can hire Bobby Knight as an Assistant and we'll be on our way.
