Well every team in the West is at least a 50-win team, and only seven games separate the #1 seed from the #8. So really, just about anyone could come out of the West.

But the Spurs have been there before, with pretty much the same cast of players that they have now. And Duncan, Parker and Ginobili are all healthy. So I'm going to go with the Spurs until someone else proves me wrong.

1. I hope the Suns come out. I have picked them the past three years and they keep making me look stupid. I think with Shaq on board they can do it.
2. Kobe's rep is fine now.
3. Yes.
4. Yes, he will. CP3=MVP.
5. T-Mac is out after 5 games.
6. Lord I hope not. San Antonio bores me to no end.

Somehow, I'm really feeling the Jazz.

I think the Jazz are going to beat the Lakers in Round Two. It's going to be a great series though.

San Antonio will outlast New Orleans in another great Round Two series. But Chris Paul...wow. I would give my left nut ten times in succession to have him on the Pacers.

I'm feelin' the Jazz too, but I still think Spurs over Jazz in the conference finals.

Lakers-Hornets in the WCF. I am a believer in CP3 and his mastery.

Im watching Dallas vs. the Hornets right now in the 3rd, i can not believe how bad Dallas is. And on top of that, how awful Jason Kidd is playing. What a disaster of a trade for them. Has a trade killed a team like that before in NBA history? Jeez....

Right after my post, Dirk Nowitzki has gone on a tear. Hornets still up but only by a few. The fourth should be really exciting....

CP3 is making Kidd look terrible in this series. Im interested to see Parker vs. Paul in the second round...

I'm more interested to watch how Tyson Chandler does vs. Tim Duncan. Chandler is a new animal. I think he may be good enough to actually stop Duncan. But i think Spurs have too much for the Hornets to compete.

Stop Duncan? I dont think he can stop him, but slow him down a bit, sure. I like that matchup in the Hornets' favor actually. I think itll make a big, big difference for the Spurs when Tony Parker isnt able to abuse the man guarding him. Paul can stay with him, and if Chandler/West/Armstrong can slow Duncan down, then I like it even more. I also think Bonzi Wells might be able to harrass that little pest Ginobili. I think if they both make it, the Hornets will win in 6 or 7.

Either the Hornets are invincible or the Mavs are just that bad. But I think the NBA champs come out of the Hornets-Spurs series.

How soon before Avery Johnson is the new coach for Phoenix? I think Kerr is gonna go after him immediately. They have the Spurs connection, they both believe in defense first, Shaq would respect the Little General, and there don't seem to be any other choices who are any better.

I'm a Suns fan, ever since the Barkley days, and I hope that AJ gets the job. I'm also a Shaq fan, and don't think he's done yet. Plus, like in Miami, it was gonna take at least one season to make the proper adjustments for the players to Shaq and vice versa.

Grant Hill is why the Suns failed this season, i really believe that, not because they dealt for Shaq. However, why would anyone want Avery Johnson? Two years in a row he's taken a loaded team to a first round exit.

He turned Josh Howard from a super star to just above average player.

I'm so excited for this game to get started. Chandler vs. Duncan. Paul vs. Parker. Manu vs.Peja.

I'm rooting for New Orleans.

Tip of the cap to Byron Scott and his defensive scheme for Duncan in game 1...very impressive. The Hornets are for real.

I am very interested to see what Popovich and the Spurs come out like tonight? Every report i've seen on the game, the "experts" are calling it a must-win game for the Spurs. Since Duncan dynasty began in San Antonio, i think this is the earliest you could say must-win for the Spurs.

Even if the Hornets do win tonight, i don't think Spurs are out of it just yet. Although, if Chris Paul runs crazy on them like he did late in the game in Game 1 and if Duncan is shut down like he was.... i think Spurs are in BIG time trouble.
