Help Scoot and his fiancee win a free wedding!!

Post#1 » by Scoot McGroot » Sun Apr 27, 2008 5:51 am

So, for those of you who don't know, I proposed to my girlfriend of 3 years back in January, and oddly enough, she said yes. Apparently, she doesn't know what she's getting herself into!!!

Currently we are finalists in a contest to win a free wedding. You could really help us out by doing something simple. All you have to do is send an email from any email address you use (only one email per address is allowed) to keraandscott@wbwb.com. Seriously, that's all it takes. If you could ask your friends and family to also send an email from any address they use, that would help immensely as well.

For what it's worth, what got us into the contest is the fact that my fiancee is starting med school this July, and I will be leaving my youth ministry job that I love to follow her to Cleveland and support her throughout this process. We may not be able to afford a wonderful wedding like this, but with your help, Kera and I can do the one thing that we most want in our lives together; to simply spend our lives together as man and wife. All it takes from you is an email.

You don't have to do anything. That's more than your right. If you could take a minute out of your day and send an email, that could possibly make a huge difference in our lives. Thank you for any thing you can do.

If you don't want to vote, I would greatly appreciate any prayers or support you could offer Kera and I as we prepare for the wonderful and amazing sacrament of marriage. Prayers are greatly appreciated and make a huge impact in our lives.

Thanks guys!!!

Don't mean to overcomplicate things but do we need to say your names in the email or something.

I would be glad to give you guys my support.

Scoot.....what do we have to say in the email?

Can we just leave it blank?

or

Does it have to say something?

I think you can just leave the email blank. All they will count is the number of emails they've received that are unique email addresses.

Thanks guys!

Done.....I left the subject and body of the message blank though...hopefully that works.

BTW...congrats on getting engaged.

Congrats to you and your "better half" Scoot, must be an awesome feeling.

I actually just broke up with my girlfriend of three and a half years and its tough so great to see that there really is true love out there.

Good on you man.

Hey! I signed up my parents for this for their vow renewal in December. Congratulations on getting it! I've got maybe twenty-seven e-mail addresses, so I'll be sure to send an e-mail from each of them.

:D!

Absolutely!!! Thanks guys. All you have to do is send an email to keraandscott@wbwb.com. There doesn't even need to be anything in the email or subject line. If you're worried, just write, "I vote for Scott and Kera".
