Don't want Jordan, At this point I think Gallinari is heads above the rest talent wise. there is no one left at this point who sufficiently fills a need as far as I'm concerned so I say we take the best available talent: Gallinari.

I'm going to say Gallinari. Best talent available by a pretty big margin.

I like Speights a lot too Cable. I'd prefer both him and Arthur to Love.

Gallinari?! Are you kidding?
We have 3 talented small forward already, Danny, Mike and Shawne. Why we pick another?
Jordan may be very rough on his skills, which can be trained, but he has the body and potential that we need to back up Jeff Foster and Troy Murphy.

I do think Gallinari is far more talented than anyone else here, but like laydo said we just have no need for another SF.

I think that it is Javale McGee. Great length.

I think you need to consider need, but you also have to consider who the best available player is and whether or not the best available player is a lot better than the next player who fills a need. In this case I feel that Jordan isn't talented enough to warrent taking him due to need, over a clearly more talented player like Gallinari. Granted we don't need another SF, but if we don't trade the pick, for the sake of this thread I would still take him and trade either him, or one of our other Small Forwards. I just don't feel like drafting a player on potential alone, (and lets be honest thats exactly what we would be doing with Jordan) is something this team needs at this point. Maybe if we go into full blown rebuilding mode then that becomes a more attractive option, but in the current state this franchise is in, I highly doubt Larry is going to tear it all down and endure many years of having our books in the red.

I probably should vote for Gallinari at this point, but I'm going to ignore him--the Pacers don't need him, and there's no way he's going to last until #11 anyway. I'm sure the rest of you will vote him in soon enough without my help.
Speights gets my vote again.
My second choice is now Chris Douglas-Roberts. I know I'm higher on him than anyone else on this board is, but I just have a hunch about CDR. I think he's a solid bet to eventually be a good NBA starter at two guard. I think he has the size and just enough athleticism to be a pretty good perimeter defender. And I absolutely love his offensive numbers from last season at Memphis, particularly the 18 points a game on a .540 field goal pct. and nearly SIX free-throw attempts per game (that is Paul Pierce territory so far as a two guard drawing fouls goes). True, I wish his free throw pct. was a bit higher, but that can be improved, and anyway I'll gladly take 71 pct. given the high volume of attempts he gets. CDR also passes my "eyeball" test...he looks to me like one of those tall, slithery scorers whose game just says "this will work in the NBA." Maybe I'm nuts, but I think CDR should be at the very least in the 15-20 range on everyone's mock draft, and I don't quite get why he isn't.

I seriously would not be surprised to see Bird and Obie reach on Joe Alexander. He's got Obie type of player written all over him. Reminds me of a Mike Miller/Mike Dunleavy type of player.

My vote goes to Gallinari. I am not a fan of any of the 4s in the draft after Kevin Love. I think Jordan is a huge question mark for a team who really doesnt need to take a big risk like that.
