So what do ya'll think? I'm really starting to hope the Pacers draft Russell Westbrook, the more I read about him the more I want him. I was also very impressed with what they are saying about Joe Alexander. I find it funny as a SF he benches more than Kevin Love.

I don't put much credence or importance in the bench press. Brady Quinn out-benched 99% of the guys that lifted at the NFL combine last year. He outbenched almost all of the "strength positions" such as both sides of the line, and linebackers.

And how about George Hill's success? I'm glad to see an Indianapolis product doing so well. Looks like he's making a good impression whether he decides to stay in the draft this year, or if he thinks he can go into the First round next year.

George Hill had one heckuva workout from what all scouts and reporters have written. However, he actually played in the games as opposed to the top prospects who just went through one round of workouts in front of scouts.

Well, I didn't say it was anything important, I just said "I find it funny that he out bench pressed Kevin Love." Not "He out bench Kevin Love meaning hes better."

I'd love it if we get our hands on Eric Gordon or Anthony Randolph. I think both are all-stars type talents, and may not be picked where they should be when it's all said and done. If Bird wanted Ben Gordon in his respective draft, he has to have an eye on the superior Eric Gordon, no?

I'd be happy if we could get Russell Westbrook. Even if it turns out he can't play the 1, I think you still have a more athletic Raja Bell type to play the 2.

I'm on the fence with Augustin, although he's probably a solid pick at #11. I like his intangibles, but does he have the physical ability to succeed at the next level? Draftexpress said he had excellent quickness which I think is a must at his size.

Less sold on Lopez and Javale McGee than I already was (both haven't met my fancy).

I dont think JO fits into our future plans much, and besides, I'm guessing whoever we pick at #11 wont be starting right away anyways. Arthur has been growing on me quite a bit. I cant say I'd be too upset if we drafted him and addressed our point guard need via trade.

True, but I think the Pacers would be much more inclined to address PG and C if they think JO is going to be here for another two seasons. At least, that would be the logical thing to do.

It's a shame JO is so frail and cant play the 5 on a regular basis, that would give us a little more leverage in the draft.
