You forgot to write that Kevin Love posted better times in the lane agility drill and the 3/4 court running drill than Anthony Randolph. And that's with 12.9% body fat, which surely will drop once a professional organization gets its hands on him and subjects him to its training resources.

I still think that Love's athleticism or lack thereof is not going to be a big issue...he is athletic enough, and his game is not primarily based on raw athleticism to begin with.

I take most of this stuff with a huge grain of salt anyway. Size and jumping ability do matter, but the most important measurement will always be the one that originates from between the ears.

Love also proved to measure better in those than Jordan, as well.

I think his measurements were fine, and I would have no problem at all getting Kevin Love if he was there at 11.

I did comment on PD that it surprised me that he measured out on the running and jumping tests better than Jordan, who looks more and more like a big stiff to me.

Westbrook is 6'3.5" in shoes, he'll be listed at 6'4" in the NBA. He also has an impressive wingspan. I doubt he's there at #11, but if he is, he's who I want provided someone major doesn't fall.

Joe Alexander also looks good. He's as big as Michael Beasley and Darrell Arthur, which helps support the claims that he'll be able to play some PF in the NBA. He's also a great athlete and extremely quick. He's probably my #2 guy at #11, again provided no one slips.


Ty Lawson looks pretty good. 195 lb. with 5.6% body fat - wow. There are NBA running backs less built than Lawson. He's 5'11.75" in shoes, so he'll be listed at a full 6-feet in the NBA, which certainly isn't great but it's not a deal breaker.


Augustin, 5'11.5" in shoes, with a very generous 1.5" boost, about what was expected. He's only 172 lb. with a fairly high 81.% body fat, and he only got 2 reps of 185 lb., so his strength is questionable. His jumping looked better than expected though. All in all, I'd still prefer Lawson, but I could live with Augustin at #11 since we're so desperate for a point guard.


Love looks very good. Even with his still high body fat, he measured out great athletically. He'll also be listed 6'10" by NBA standards. No way is he there at #11. I wouldn't be surprised to see Seattle take him #4 and I can't see him slipping out of the top-5.


If we could get Alexander at #11 and move #41 down to pick up Lawson, I'd be very pleased with our draft.

Wow. Joe Alexander with a 2.99 3/4 sprint. Faster than Rose, Augustin, Bayless, etc. Also 2nd at the bench press.

Imagine the mismatch he'd give us at PF?

Alexander is someone I wouldn't mind having, we just need to address PG and C first, though the supposed deal with Cleveland would at least somewhat ease the need for a C, leave us needing a PF, and give us a pick at 19. The only problem there being I don't think Augustin, Westbrook, or Alexander will fall to 19.

Man, Kevin Love did great considering the amount of body fat he's still carrying-- a 35" vertical?? With 13% body fat?? Ok, I'll retract the "unathletic" tag after performing like that!

And Joe Alexander-- I wouldn't be upset at all if he's picked at #11! Everything I have read about this kid is good all the way around, and of course, he's LB's prototype player!

DeAndre Jordan's stock should be dropping like a rock in a pond-- DeVon Hardin out-performed him in every category, most notably putting up 20 reps on the bench to Jordan's 8.

and Augustin weighing in at 172??? That's definitely puny for sure.
