Take the pick out and it's fine. Or keep the pick and give us a future first-protected.

Take the pick out, and we'll give you Shawne Williams or Ike Diogu.

Yeah take the pick out and make it JO, Jamaal and Ike for Marbury, Lee, Rose and Nate. I'd take that deal and change my phone number so Donnie can't call back and renig once he sobers up.

Take out the pick and add Williams or Diogu like the others said.

Pick out! Pick out! Pick out!

I'd even give Diogu AND Williams rather than the #11.

Clearly, getting the pick is the least of your worries. Everybody seems fine with that.

I'd probably do a Marbury + 6 for JO.

Or if you want to switch expiring contracts and need guard depth, you can have Daniels for Rose or something.

If you're still not interested, I would trade the 11th (+maybe Diogu) for Lee as long as the 6 was coming to us.

I really like the idea of getting the 6th pick to grab Eric Gordon. We really don't have any players who could consistently get to the line and draw fouls.

Let me expand on that idea some. JO for Marbury and #6, Ike and #11 for Lee, and Jamaal for Jefferies. So it's JO, Jamaal, Ike and #11 for Marbury, Lee and Jeffries plus the #6.

Sure, sign me up for that one. Somehow, I dont think Donnie Walsh is too excited to get half his habitually injured Pacers back..

Nice. I like that.

To sweeten the pot even more for NY to do this deal, I'd include Marquis for James. We gain just one year of a contract, and they get an expiring to lessen the $$$ on their part. But I think this trade is pretty fair.

Jefferies - Tinsley... they have basically the same contract, Tinsley has proven he can run a quick tempo game, and Jefferies really doesn't play anyway so even if Tinsley gets hurt theres no major loss.

Marbury - JO... I think it is pretty obvious Marbury has hurt the team and getting rid of him is a huge plus. However, he is a big expiring so he has value in that sense. JO > expiring

Diogu - Lee... Diogu still has a prospect label IMO and would do well in a quick lineup (Obie just hates him)... Lee is already a proven, solid player. Not sure MD will want him as much though (athleticism).

6 to 11... 5 picks is not a major jump and the JO/expiring difference is made up here.

I think after this trade the Knicks receive Stromile Swift and KVH from NJ in exchange for Curry. NJ gets a scoring big which will help them out in a big way.

Tinsley - Robinson
Crawford - Richardson
Richardson - Balkman
Randolph - Diogu
O'Neal - Morris/Rose
11th pick: Joe Alexander (would fit in great), DJ Augustin maybe (depending how well they like Nate at the 1), or maybe a guy like Jordan or something.

Diener - Daniels
Dunleavy - Gordon (6th pick)
Granger - Williams - Daniels
Murphy - Williams - Jefferies
Foster - Murphy

We would need to pick up a back up Center or maybe just re-sign Big Dave (not sure I want to do that). Gonna need a starting PG as well, but I'm sure we could pick up a stopgap or S&T Rush for one.
