How long have you been a fan?: Since I can remember. Went to see a Pacers-Knicks game in the early 90s just as that rivalry was starting. I was ony 7-8 at the time, so since then.

How long have I been a Pacer fan: since the 1986-1987 season, which was my first year of school in Bloomington. I had just broken off my allegiance to the Kings after they moved from Missouri to California, and the team I could watch on local TV was the Pacers, and the Pacers had Stipanovich, a former Missouri Tigers standout. It was fate!

Anything else you would like to share? I was at the ORL-IND game where Rik hit a turn around midcourt jumper in Shaq's face to win a playoff game. Also, got to go to IND-CHI where Reggie hit a turn around three to in MJ face to beat the Bulls. Pretty awesome memories as a kid. I wish this team could get back there because I like going to Conseco.

How long have you been a Pacers fan? Since I was conscience of living in Indianapolis and the city had a team. I remember Vern Fleming, Haywood Workman, Chuck Person, Detlef Schrempf, and not a whole lot before those Pacer teams.

I forgot to mention Byron Scott and shaving my head during the playoffs has a youth for like three years straight. I used to obsessed with basketball before I started playing football and baseball.

Maybe one of the greatest sequences in the history of the playoffs (see here), but it was actualy Tree Rollins he faked out, and it was only about a 14-footer.

Doesn't diminish how incredible the back-to-back-to-back game "winners" by Reggie, Penny, and finally, Rik.

Crap, another fond memory I have is the year CHI went 72-10, the Pacers faced CHI in CHI the last game of the season if I remember correctly. Derrick McKey had a good game and the Pacers ended up beating the Bulls in CHI and that made me really happy.

This was well before the rumor had come out. But I can remember watching the game, and I must have been about 10 or so, but I remember thinking how good he was looking despite missing most of his shots.

I wasn't at the MJ return game, but I did watch that live. I believe the Pacers won that game. Also, MJ was wearing #45, that's sad because I had both MJ jerseys.

Also, I remember being like ten or whatever and watching the classic NY-IND game in Anderson with my uncle and cousins. Literally five seconds before the classic ten seconds I was thinking to myself "this game is over, I am going to go outside and play ball." Then Reggie scored like 8 points in ten seconds or whatever. I went crazy. I doubt there will ever be a Pacer rivalry as great as the 90's NYK-IND rivalry. DET was close, but I don't consider it as good.

How long have you been a Pacers fan? When I moved to Indiana in 1994 I found out it was state law that you had to be a basketball fan to live here. I got caught up in the Pacers/Knicks series in 94 and have been a loyal fan ever since.
