Why for the Pacers?
They get rid of a horrible contract plus a guy that the fans are not exactly thrilled with on or off the court. They bring in an expiring and a young guard that can play well when givin minutes.

Why for the Nets?
They get a good solid backup or starting guard for Devin Harris. They get rid of a few of the young players that won't be getting minutes in their organization.

What do you guys think of it?

Of course we'd do it. The Nets wouldn't.

do they not already have Devin Harris AND Marcus Williams

The Pacers would do that trade tomorrow if they could, but don't think the Nets will.

Is the Lions' Matt Millen running the Nets now and has an infatuation with PG's instead of WR's?

They are said to like Tinsley because he is a pass first point guard. Van Horn isn't doing anything and Ager isn't working out there.
