Doesn't Sam Perkins have a history of being a pot smoker?

Wait... theres players in the NBA that don't smoke weed?

I'm sure he's past that stage. I'm glad we hired him, good move, one small step, in fixing this club, hopefully many many more. I really like this off-season already. From Simon's blasting the team, to Bird promising change to our new GM to now and hiring Perkins.

I think it was more a life-long assumption that he smoked weed just because he never showed emotion and always seemed to be a slow player.

But that could've been because he was almost 7 foot tall as well.

Could be true, but it's probably equal chances or better that it's not true.

Big Smooth was one of my favorite Pacers. Glad, he's back in some capacity with this organization.

Hahahaha yeah Bird just needs to learn how to make trades and bring in players that don't remind him of himself.

I wouldn't mind a team full of Larry Bird-like players.

Hopefully these kind of moves will help put us on the right track.
