Tim Donaghy, who pleaded guilty to charges of betting on games he officiated, is now airing NBA's dirty laundry.
Ex-NBA referee Tim Donaghy told the feds two refs fixed the outcome of one playoff series - and that officials were told not to eject star players from games for fear of hurting ticket sales.
The bombshell allegations are contained in a court document filed Tuesday by Donaghy's lawyer. It describes the

lol this reporter is an idiot though. He says Donaghty told the feds NBA made 2 refs make a series go 7 games... the reporter has no clue what series, but only one series (Kings/Lakers as you mentioned) went 7 games. lol
They prolly screwed us too vs the Nets. I thought we were the better team but lost. I remember yelling alot during that series. haha

They say the other game he admitted to being fixed besides Lakers/Kings was in 2005, Mavs/Rockets. Unless one of those refs spills their beans, this is a non story as Donaghy has zero credibility, however, if anything else is found in this case, NBA could be in serious problems.

I have no evidence of this whatsoever, but I kinda think that the reason that the home team has won such a large majority of the games during series in the playoffs this year is because the NBA is trying to prevent teams and fans from crying foul, or accusing the Refs of fixing games. It just seems like the Refs are protecting the home team a lot more than usual this year.
(except for the lakers. They always seem to get the calls they need to compete regardless of where they play.(except Boston apparently))
(I hate the Lakers)

The win-loss records for home and away teams is unreal this year. I don't want to say anything to discredit my favorite league in the world, but it's as sketchy as it gets.
