People may be having problems posting. I know it took me a while to figure it out. If you go to the main page of the pacers forum on real gm and click on one of the post topics; it will give you an error.

however if you go to the forum section, then go to the pacer forum section, then you can view the new posts and make posts. the biggest problem with this is that if you can see this post, you have already figured that out. the people that cant see this because they are on the pacer gm main page cant post.

so, to sum up, actually i have no idea how to solve this problem...

Good question to ask; how many of you generally visit this forum by visiting the Indiana Pacers page at www.pacers.realgm.com?


I know from my past history, I didn't even know about that page until well after I had been here as a poster on the forums, but it'd be interesting to see how everybody visits these forums?




As for the problems posting, I'm sure that the admin's would love to hear about it if you could post it in the Global Announcement that is titled "Welcome to the New Forum" at the top of the forums.

They are fixing these forums alot. They had much more problems earlier then they do now, but for example the quote feature is now fixed. There is still a few bugs left but many people are still complaining in that global thread. I actually am starting to like these forums. They look very modern and very clean. They do seem a bit hard to navigate and still a few bugs are still there (like no quick reply) but in time i guess it will be added soon.

For some reason though, our activity has been killed last few days. I left on Friday for a weekend trip and returned late Sunday and i pretty much missed nothing and in that time only like 5-6 guys posted messages on here. I don't know what is up, i hope our fans return though.

Hope it's fixed soon.

The forums were shut down completely all day Saturday. Something like 7 am to midnight or longer.




However, I'm kind of in the same boat as you. It was a little frustrating at first, but I'm really starting to like the new setup more and more. To be honest, I think most of the upgrades have been behind the scenes like with our mod tools to best maintain the forums. For me, it seems a little zippier, snazzier, and all around a fluffermeister.*

I always visit pacers.realgm.com and then click through to this column. Lately I noticed that the pacers.realgm page was not being updated. Must be the new forums structure

Yeah i just noticed that today, i mean i don't go that route but i went to check it out. I hope it's fixable but they have been fixing alot of problems. Quotes and quick reply and now fixed. I think the forum is great, i'm still getting used to it but looks very clean, easy to operate, and looks very modern. I think most of our crew has returned but i do hope they fix some of the remaining bugs to help new people to keep on coming.

I have some complaints, but read through the rest of these first. There is a quickreply button now (I just used it!). I'm annoyed that the threads behave differently everytime I go into one. Sometimes they look OK, but other times, they lose their formatting and become long strings with each paragraph on a single line. It's enough to make me long for the days when Keith McLeod was on the team and Dew would post his 4th quarter stats. Also, the video at the top of the page tends to resize so as each image comes along the page can jump up and down.

Those are my complaints.
