Done. We could use more front court depth in Darko. The 28th pick does nothing for me, but it is obvious O'Brien doesn't like Ike and won't play him, and Daniels has been a huge disappointment.

i figured ike is a young prospect that isnt getting time here due to obie, and daniels is exp. i think we need depth up front too. 28th is just to fill out the roster.

It's not a secret, but i heard Bird say that the players they are looking to get must be high quality players but also good role models. The team needs to fix it's image. They need to get junk out like Tinsley and bring in players who the fans can respect again. Darko has a bad temper and no way would Indiana look to get him to sign.

I guess I didn't realize this. To be honest I just want to rent him for a year then next offseason we can get value for an exp.

I really wouldn't like this. Why is everyone hating on Daniels? I thought he played well considering what we asked of him last year, not to mention he is a good expiring. I really wouldn't like this trade at all, the #28 doesn't appeal to me at all. Bird said he was looking for a picks in the teens to early 20's, not late 20's, so I imagine the player Bird wants as second option isn't back there.

But we could do this deal....gain depth w/ darco then potentially use #28 and another player like williams to get into the teens. Or maybe we wouldnt even need to package the 28 and we could potentially have 3 first rounders

Welcome to the forum!

Like i said in my post, as soon as Bird sees that youtube, the deal will be dead. lol

If we do a deal with Memphis, it's going to be for Kyle Lowry, who Indiana showed interest in last year. Lowry for Williams maybe? Lowry could be a very solid PG. Bird did say we may get a PG or two.... Lowry would be solid.

LOL yeah it's a classic. I think that was like 7-10 days after he signed his deal with Memphis last summer. I wish i was a fly in their offices the following day when they heard of it. LOL

Is that an accurate translation? If so he makes Ron Artest look sane.

LOL

It really is, believe it or not. I saw it somewhere i think it was on Real GM and it was highly talked about, and like 4-5 days later it became a big story and ESPN covered it on all their shows and Yahoo had a story on it. I remember hearing Micheal Wilbon say on PTI the reason why the story took days to hit the mainstream because they needed to double check if that translation is true.

But i mean all you gotta do is look at his face to know it's true. LOL

WOW, that dude is straight crazy. I'm not even exaggerating when I say he makes Artest look sane.

I'll take Ron Artest beating fans, shanking other players, and requesting trades every 3 days then changing his, over that any day of the week.
