Your sleepers/clunkers.

I've been wanting to make this for a few days now, thought I would wait closer to the draft. Who are your top 3 sleepers and top 3 busts from this draft? Maybe we could bring this up later down the road and see who everyone predicted.

Top 3 Busts(No Order):
1. D.J. Augustin - I just do not see him doing much against bigger guards - which is just about everyone.
2. Kevin Love - I don't know, I see him being slightly better than David Lee maybe - not worth top 5 pick.
3. Danillo Gallinari - Not many foreign prospects drafted in lottery ever amount to something.

Top 3 Sleepers(No Order):
1. Alexis Ajinca - I really think this guy is going to be good, even if it takes a few years.
2. Darrell Arthur - I think this guy will be great in the new NBA with faced paced offenses.
3. Kyle Weaver - He's my big sleeper. This guy reminds me a lot of Marquise Daniels, he will be good.

Busts:

1. DeAndre Jordan- your typical "raw" lottery pick that gets hyped up but just isn't a basketball player.

2. JaVale McGee- see above description and add "minimal production in a small conference"

3. Joe Alexander: 17 and 6 averages at WVU aren't good enough to be a big time SF in my opinion. They say he's a good athlete and a good shooter, but a lot of the best players in the game are 6-8 230...we'll see how he stacks up against them.

Honorable mention: Donte Greene (headcase that didn't play up to his potential) and Jerryd Bayless (Arizona's a talented team, he lacked the ability to take them to the next level...He'll obviously become a consistent player though).

Sleepers:

1. Ajinca: I'm not sure if he still counts, as every mock author claims him to be their own find.

2. Mike Green: I think he'll become a solid point guard, with the potential to be a consistent starter. He's not especially big, and his athleticism probably is just as intriguing as many other pg prospects. But I'm going on what Larry Bird had to say about him.

3. Nicholas Batum: Sleeper or not at this point, using a late first round pick on this guy is a steal. His stats dropped or stayed relatively the same, and he just hurt his knee...but he didn't rock the 07 draft summit without talent. I think hes going to make a good swingman after he adjusts to the NBA.

Biggest bust candidates--

Funny thing is all these guys are "bigs"

Jordan-- low college production and low perceived work ethic, all in a big body just don't add up to NBA stardom, or even mediocrity for that fact.

McGee-- could be okay if he went back to school for a couple more years, but right now, he's D-league bound within a month of the start of the NBA season IMO.

Brook Lopez-- One of the slowest players ever recorded at the NBA pre-draft camp-- I watched a couple of his games and he seems to be moving in quicksand. Sure he can score, but I don't think a guy this slow would warrant a possible top-10 pick.

Biggest Boom candidates--

George Hill-- there's a reason why he worked out for so many teams, he tore up the NBA Pre-Draft camp. He also ran the point in the same camp, and every possible statistical number-crunching points to him being the prototypical "diamond in the rough" every NBA team is looking for.

Courtney Lee-- has starting SG written all over him, he can defend and shoot, or, uh, exactly what we need on the Pacers at the SG position :)

Roy Hibbert-- yeah, he may be a little slow with foot speed, (but not like Lopez, that's for sure)
but a big man that has 4 years of college experience and is only 21(!) that can shoot with both hands equally well and has excellent passing skills will definitely have a starting spot in the NBA. I think LB got the message on him too....
