This is now, officially, Danny Granger's team.
I'm sure he can't say anything public on the trade until July 9th as per team policy, but i'm wondering what he thinks. Last year i remember even on this forum we debated whos team this is and many still said O'Neal and rightfully so, with what he's been through here and his contract, but now, it's Granger's team.

Yeah, it is. Let's see how he does. It's going to be a learning process.
I'd be curious though if Eric Gordon somehow miraculously fell to us, if the Pacers general fan base would accept him as the face of the franchise? He'd be unproven, but this wouldn't necessarily surprise me.

that's the problem with taking a local kid like Gordon. it's still got to be Danny's team and Eric would have to be a spot player as a rookie. I think Eric could handle that but he'd be under a lot of fan pressure to do more.
