Diener played with wade in the backcourt at Marquette, has an excellent asst/turn ratio, outside shot. Murphy will draw the defender away from the basket, can hit the three, rebound. Grahm is a solid defender an expiring contract. For Pacers, we get a solid PF, and although we have Blounts contract, I'm hoping he can at least rebound/block shot and his contract is shorter than Murphys. Diener I think will be third string and we can get a unsigned draft pick/free agent point guard

It just doesn't seem to help either team much. Murphy can play the 4 or 5, so as much as I don't like him I think his versatility makes him at least reasonably close to as valuable to us as Haslem would be. He's not really a good 5 in Miami's system though as they need more of an inside presence just in case the undersized Beasley isn't as good inside as he's hyped to be immediately (imagine that...they might have overhyped the NBA draft). No doubt he'll give them that presence in the future, but with Marion, Wade, and Beasley they're one true big away from seriously competing for the finals this year.

you think it's a realistic chance we could put a package together to get Marion, and then move hin somewhere out west to like Portland maybe for Aldridge etc.?

I doubt Miami does it. Next offseason, both Haslem and Blount become sizable expiring contracts, whereas Murphy will still have 2 years and $20M+ left on his contract. It's just not worth it for the Heat. Not to mention, they likely value Haslem's defense over Murphy's shooting. With Wade and Beasley and even the young SG Cook, they have plenty of scoring.
