The Indiana Pacers won their first game against Oklahoma City yesterday 95-78, leading wire-to-wire. OKC was led by the fourth pick in this year's draft, Russell Westbrook, who scored 18 pts on 50% shooting (33% from 3) with 4 rebounds and 5 assists in an impressive showing. Last year's fifth pick, Jeff Green, led all scorers with 21 points, but was only 7 of 19 from the floor and had 5 TO's. Hoosier alum DJ White chipped in 8 points and 4 caroms in 26 foul-plagued minutes.

Earl Calloway led five Pacer double-figure scorers with 16 points, while Andre Emmett chipped in 15 points off the bench. Calloway had a nice all-around game, adding 7 assists and 4 boards, while Vladamie Gulobovic add 8 rebounds. Returning Pacers Shawne Williams (13) and Stephen Graham (14) were both in double figures. Graham struggled with his shot (3 of 9 from the floor) and handle (4 TO's), but was perfect in his 8 charity attempts. Shawne Williams shot 50% from the field and had two steals, but committed 3 TO's and fouled out in only 20 minutes.

Today's opponent is coming off a 94-70 loss in the ballyhooed 1 vs. 2 matchup involving the Miami Heat. Overall #1 Derrick Rose struggled, scoring 10 points and dishing 4 assists, but doing it while only shooting 33% from the floor, 50% from the line, and committing 5 TO's. Meanwhile, Michael Beasley was impressive with 28 points and 9 rebounds. The Bulls saw four players score in double figures, with Demetrius Nichols and Keith Langford leading the way at 13. Returning players Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas started and combined for 19 pts and 17 boards, but also 10 fouls. JamesOn Curry and Cedric Simmons played off the bench, but were scoreless in a combined 20 minutes' action.

Gooooooooo! Faux Pacers!!!!!!!!!

With the much-anticipated showdown between Derrick Rose and Earl Calloway, I am surprised that this game is not on national television.

Anyway, I predict another win for our beloved Faux Pacers. Not only do the Bulls have no answer for Vladimir Gulobovic, but in fact they can't even understand the question.

I really wish I was at least able to watch Hibbert in SL leagues. I want to see how he would have fared in a run and gun game.

Well, the way I look at it...at least there's a zero percent chance of Rush and Hibbert getting a stupid injury.

I am really interested to see how Shawne does, but other than that I just can't get up for summer leagues this year like I have in the past.

down 6 with 4 min left.... Williams isn't that good tonight. But team defense is the big negative so far. Alot of open looks for the Bulls and they can pass with ease. When we are shooting, it seems like we have to give 120% effort to get a good shot off.

wow... poor defense by Graham on the 3 point line costs us 3pt..... he looks good offensively but not on defense. He looks lost.

Aaron Gray dominates 3 Pacers, gets the rebound and an easy bucket..... Bulls are starting to roll away.....

Thank god we have a bunch of point guards, Earl Calloway is terrible. Turnover machine, shoots like he's Iverson and plays ZERO defense. Dude, you're a NOBODY, why not play defense and why be a ball hog?? I don't understand....

Pacers lost. Graham looked good offensively. He is very good off the ball and with the players the Bulls had, he looked like he belonged. He looked like one of the better players when we had the ball. I didn't keep track of stats, because i didn't watch the entire full time, i saw most of the game though.

Defensively is another story. He was beat many times, he was faked out alot and as a result opponent got alot of easy looks.

Shawne Williams didn't impress me too much. I watched most of the game vs. OKC and he looked good then, tonight he was kinda just jocking around, looked unmotivated. Oh well, it's summer league, what can you do. Larry Bird even looked bored on the sidelines. lol

If im not mistaken, Bulls win 86-81.

Graham has shown flashes of being a very good offensive player. The Toronto game last year at Toronto is a good example. I think being a bad defender is a prerequisite to be on this team as many as we have though.

...its Summer League guys. This is glorified pick-up basketball. I dont think anyone on the court even knew the score. I will say though, for guys like Calloway, you'd think he'd play some friggin defense. This is an audition for him and a lot of these other guys. For players like Shawne and Graham? I dont read much into their peformances.
