I can't see Phoenix giving us a first-round pick unless they get something of value back from us. The only value they get here is dumping Diaw's contract.

We had a lengthy argument a week or so ago in another thread on the merits of trading Tinsley + Williams for Diaw. Opinions were pretty evenly divided. Which, coming from the Pacers board, could mean that it's about as Pacers-friendly a deal as the Pacers can hope to make with Tinsley.

now this i really wouldn't want to do. picking up longer contracts on iffy players is a bad idea. also, the suns have already traded away a lot of 1st rounders - i don't think they really have one to spare.

mizzou, fien both good points. I dont mind the longer contract and honeslty take out our 2nd and swap their 1st to a 2nd and i would still do it.

My reasons
IND - nothing more than to rid ourselves of tinsley
PHX - dump some salary and get a good young sf to come in behind hill.
