The Indiana Pacers are going home.

The team announced today it will play a preseason game Oct. 8 against New Orleans at Pepsi Coliseum, where they played home games from 1967-1974....

This is nice. I like that they are going around to other places to play some games. Preseason only off course. But it gives Pacer fans to far from Indy to get a chance to see them. They played at Ball State U the year before last. It was a great game. It was against WAS. Came down to the very last second. Artest missed the game winner, but Harrison got the rebound and the put back with no time left on the clock. I remeber saying this Harrison kid is going to be good....I gues thats why Im a banker not an NBA scout.

Maybe they should play every game at PepsiCo. Every game I went to last year, it didn't seem like there was enough people at conseco to fill up the coliseum. Seeing all those empty seats really upset me.

this is pretty sweet. i'm going to try to make it to that game. though before my time, pepsi coliseum was a place where an all out brawl was no big deal. along with the pacer championships, those must have been some good times.
