The Pacers are adamant about not buying out the remainder of Jamaal Tinsley's contract, which is about $21 million.

The team will intensify their efforts to trade Tinsley before training camp begins.

The Pacers are maintaining their stance of not wanting to buy out the remaining three years of Tinsley's contract, which is about $21 million. I hear Tinsley's nameplate has been taken down inside the lockerroom at Conseco Fieldhouse.

There's a chance, albeit a very slight one, that they could change their thoughts on the situation if they can't find a team to trade Tinsley to and he decides he'll agree to a buyout that's less than the $21 million he's owed.

I'd be surprised if the latter happened because I don't see Tinsley taking less money to go away. Can you blame him?

We might be adamant, but i doubt anyone else in the league is desperate for him. Here's hoping things change.

he's not getting anywhere near the locker room let alone the playing court. I've heard that from too many sources to doubt it a bit. I can, however, see them making some other deal to get down to 15 and just letting him rot until his contract runs out or someone wants him whichever comes first.
