I'm assuming today is media day, with camp starting tomorrow. I personally am hoping for a big announcement to go along with it. I think we all know what that announcement is...

"We're here to announce the trade of Jamaal Tinsley and..."

I'm praying to the high Heavens that we hear something like that come out of Larry Bird's big ol' face today. Anyone anticipating big news to come out of media day, or do you just think it will be a lot of photo shoots and repetitive answers to lame questions?

I'd prefer anyone of those guys other than Williams. I know I'm probably in the minority in saying that, but I think Shawne has way too much upside to give up on quite yet. If by some chance he can manage to get the hangers on away from him and screw his head on right, he will be a very solid contributor for our team. The string of games he put together at the end of last season was a sign of what he can do when he's playing with confidence. I'd love nothing more than to see him commit himself to being a responsible young adult and showing this franchise that he wants to be part of our future.

I think it will be Williams....he has a ton of talent, but Bird is sick of his problems

Interesting to see no media day photos of Shawne or Rasho on the team's website

I noticed that to. I saw that Rasho was there at least. BUt in all the videos and pictures I saw. I did not see williams. The only time I saw Rasho was in a short clip of the video on indystar.com where they were showing all the news guys in a photo shoot together.

I'd be happy if it's Daniels, it will more realistically be Willaims whough.
