What Do You Think Of B Rush So Far?

I am a KU grad, so although I'm not a Pacers fan, I want to try and keep an eye on all the former Jayhawks in the league and track their progress. I am a big fan of B-Rush, although he has had a tendency to disappear at times during games. He is such a smooth player, sometimes stuff looks too easy for him.
Anyway, I saw a little bit of last night's game against the Bulls and was very happy with what I saw. But I was wondering what the fans and media are thinking about him so far.
Thanks!

I loved what I saw last night. The first game against New Orleans, he just looked like a guy getting his first action in the NBA. He could've done much worse, but a lot of people were acting as if he was the worst player on the court. I really like "Rush Hour 2" and I think he's going to do big things for us this year and in the future.

He's legit, and a much better all around player than his brother. Bird seems to have quite a bit of faith in him, and there's really no reason to think he wont succeed here.

He's ok, although I hate who we had to give up for him, and why we had to get him.

I like him a lot. He's the type of throwback player you win championships with in my opinion. Time will tell, but his sharp shooting ability from outside as well as exceptional defensive play will take him a long way.

Agreed completely.

He looked shaky his first game out but did a complete 180 for game #2. I doubt he'll ever be a big time scorer, but he looks like he could be the kind of glue-guy that can do a everything reasonably well. A Tayshaun Prince type, with perhaps a little more offense.

He's the complete package. It's simply up to him on how good he will get. Two things are certain, he's a winner and a dude.

I'm cautiously optimistic. He's got talent, no doubt about that.
BUT he was never as good a player in college as he probably should have been. I'm hoping the leg injury before his final season at KU had something to do with that, and that he is now fully recovered and ready to take his game to a higher level. I'm uneasy, though, because he had a lot of games in college where he just kind of disappeared, and looking on from a distance, it seemed like more of a mental thing than a physical issue.
I'm not Nostradamus, so I'll wait and see how it works out. I know that Rush will inevitably be compared with Jerryd Bayless, but I also still wonder about
this guy.

When comparing Rush's numbers to Bayless don't forget to include Jarrett Jack's numbers as well...we got two for the price of one.

Not really sure it works like that. If you want to play it that way, add in McRobert's numbers and Diogu's numbers in there too. I get what you're saying though.
