Worst rookie: Roy Hibbert, Indiana Pacers
Now that Donnie Walsh is gone, Pacers president Larry Bird is out there on an island making the ultimate personnel decisions, and this one was not a good one. Yes, the Pacers need some help on the interior, but while Hibbert is huge, his movements are gauged by a calendar. He will set great screens and get in the way on defense, maybe.

wow. Tough words. I hope Roy proves this guy wrong. From what i've seen, he's been solid in pre-season.

Meh, journalists are out there using such columns to create contraversy, it's just part of their job.
It seriously doesn't worry me, Roy was the perfect pick, and he'll prove it in the next few seasons. A dedicated, hard working, selfless player, he'll be as good as he lets himself.

Well at least he gave Danny the most underated player in the NBA and Shaq the most overated player but IMO I would give Dwayne Wade the most overated.

It was just wierd to me that he would go that route. Of all the players picked, first off Roy was picked (ironically enough same as Granger) 17th. According to the draft your not supposed to epect much from the pick. Granger smashed expectations and Hibbert will do the same!!

I will say it now. If Hibbert eventually proves to be the worst player in the 2008 NBA Draft, then this is hands down, the best draft class any sport has ever seen. There is a 0% chance that Hibbert is the worst player in the draft.
