Just some stats.

Post#1 » by xxSnEaKyPxx » Sat Nov 29, 2008 6:31 pm

Danny Granger is currently 8th in the NBA in blocks, and leads the SF position for blocks per game.

Roy Hibbert is 3rd in the NBA in blocks per 48 minutes.

I'd love to see Hibbert play every game till he fouls out, I think once he gets some run in the NBA he'll start to get his game together.

this will work itself out, Rasho is good, So is Jeff, but we just drafted Roy. We drafted Roy Knowing what we got in Rasho and how Long Rasho was under contract. So I agree that we should develope him but we should start the best player until we find out how good we are in the season, until Dunleavy is healthy and we are at full power playing towards the playoffs. At some point we'll shut it down and play for developement. it'd be silly to resign Rasho with Jeff and Roy on the roster.

I think around 40 losses we start playing the young guns over rasho and daniels/dunleavy. Maybe even protect Danny a bit after the all-star break. Currently Daniels is proving his prowless on Defense while slashing to the hoop, had we not drafted Rush I'd feel very good about having him long term(except for daniels knee). Roy has about half a season to cut his teeth before we see if he can play over rasho, who we most likely won't keep, by moving him into a larger roll.

Don't worry about Hibbert. At some point this season, either Foster or Rasho will get hurt and miss some games, and he will get plenty of "development" time then.

And next year Rasho will be playing somewhere else, and Hibbert will probably be playing 25+ minutes per night for us.
