Also they played together last year and Jose won the starters job, that speaks volumes right there.

That story is not entirely true. From what i heard and from a few news articles i saw it stated that TJ regularly outplayed calderon in team practises before he was hurt so that is why he always started. The raptors also kept Calderon not because he was necessarily better but because he was a safer option dew to TJ's injury risks.

Exactly! Raptors were scared he would get injured so they traded ford instead. Stupid trade on the Raptors part. Calderon is not better than TJ Ford. He rarely attacks the basket, he cannot create his own shot and can barely create shots for others, and his defense is equivalent to a pylon. Only thing he has going for him is his wide open jump shot, and actually he has been struggling with that to lately.

Clearly you are a little biased based on your name lol. We didn't trade TJ because we were scared he would get injured again... sure that played a part in it, but that was NOT the sole reason. Jose Calderon came in and made the team run better, and got along very well with Chris Bosh. TJ Ford on the other hand was a little too shot happy, and I don't think Chris Bosh was overly happy with some of his decisions on the court. Also, when he came back from injury he just sulked at coming off of the bench. Ford was a little too much about getting his shot some games, than running the team whereas Calderon has always run the plays called out by the coach. This explains Calderons lack of driving as 7 times out of 10 down the floor Sam Mitchell would call out the same slow play (The pick and roll). With the coaching change now I expect to see Calderon utilizing the drive more often, as he is deceptively quick and a good finisher at the rim. As for his defense... I agree wholeheartedly.
