Bird doesn't want to buy him out, but he also doesn't want to play him nearly the same story as Starbury it appears. He is such a good player when healthy an excelent PG. Do you think he will remain out the remainder of the year? Once those DEN rumors dissapeared when they got Billups, now what? Why is he so blacklisted he puts up very good numbers when hes healthy. TJ Ford is a nice option to have, but still tow excellent PGs are better than one. He makes what 10M for three more seasons is that why hes not moving?
Just read this...Jamaal Tinsley, another player who had a knack for finding trouble, was sent to the Indiana version of Elba. While still on the roster, his nameplate has been taken down in the locker room and he is, as they say, available. He has played his last game as a Pacer.

Well, his contract will pay him $21.6mm over this and the following two seasons.
He simply can't stay healthy. He's had some off-court problems and run-ins with the law. Nothing egregious, but bad enough to make him persona non grata in Indy.
The fanbase has dwindled, and many in Indy were ashamed of the Pacers, and viewed Tinsley as the poster child for everything that was wrong with the Pacers.
It's not entirely fair to Tinsley, but he's not what you'd call an innocent victim in this soap opera. I am not privy to what exactly happened in the locker room, so I can't tell you what he was like as a teammate.

I have no idea what you're talking about, and clearly, neither do you.

We should send him to the D-League.

I was a tinsley fan, but he is a cancer.
He allegedly punched a bartender after someone was stealing coats, then their was his shootout in down town, if I'm not mistaken he has around when SJ got hit by a car after shooting a gun into the air. He may or may not be very good, but he's injury prone because of the way he takes the ball into bigger players. he can dribble as well as most players I've seen but we're not going to get anything for him.
no trade rumors I've heard yet but maybe some team will be looking for a point and have an overpaid big with a similarly bad contract to move.
