Introduction Of A New Mod - PR07

Hey gang,

I am here to proudly announce that Luke, PacersRule07, will be named the newest member of the moderator family at some point today (Thursday). He has been a great mod on the Colts' board, which made him the top candidate to join the Pacers' team.

The addition of a moderator to this board has been long overdue, but something that we didn't feel comfortable jumping into quickly after the unfortunate loss of PacerFan as a mod, but person more importantly.

Those that were up for nomination were all tremendous candidates and have provided this board with a solid future to build upon. Please stay tuned to the board's announcement section, because more news with be forthcoming.

The Pacers aren't winning a heck of a lot of games this season, but they are playing good basketball. It's been a tough go here since the loss of PF, and I think the addition of PR07 and the continued improvement of our P's will help solidify this board's standing as one of RealGM's best.

So, please, join me in welcoming PacersRule07 :king:

as a mod!

CONGRATS PF07.
You have big shoes to fill, but be your own man & all will be good!
The other MOD's here are the best, so you place on the Pacer Board Mt Rushmore speaks volumes.

Thanks guys, it's much appreciated.

Needless to say, the board lost a tremendous moderator with Count's retirement today. I don't think anyone can replace what Count has contributed to this board, but I'm confident, through my own contributions as well as through working with others, that I can help this board become a place of the highest quality of discussion and debate of our beloved Pacers. I look forward to working with a great group of moderators in PacerPerspective and Scoot McGroot, and also the many talented posters that encompass this board. Thank you all.

That's the most important thing. When i joined this forum, i quit a pretty good forum because this forum was so active and had so much insight. However, ever since last summer's draft, i feel like this board has only decreased. I really think getting a new mod was the right time for this place. We have a really really good group of posters on this forum and it'd be a shame to lose people right now due to inactivity. DGrangeRx33 has suggested we do a "Poster of the month" award. DGrangerx33 and I used to post on that other forum and when i joined this one, i recruited him, and that was one of the cool things we left behind. I really think we should bring it to life on realgm.

Anything that will help this forum grow and keep people coming back is a positive i think. If you count individual users who come to realgm mainly for the Pacers, you'll see an we have an amazing potential for success. It's in our own hands though.

Without question, PR07 is going to bring a lot to this board, not that he hasn't already. As the Colts mod, he's worked tirelessly to build it into one of the top NFL boards on RealGM. He is a high quality poster, and, from what I have come to know of him, a high quality person.

The Pacers board has definitely come out money ahead on this exchange. The Pacers haven't got this big of a steal since they dealt Herb Williams for Detlef Schrempf.

Best of luck, PR07. The board is better today than it was yesterday.

I am long overdue to this thread, and not be design.

I am elated to add PR07, yet also a little sad to see count step away. I'm glad that we can get some fresh blood and some new passion to the forum. Much in the way that I feel PP helped refresh pacerfan's passion, and I helped re-energize the forums a bit, and in the same way that count reminded me of my passion, I'm sure that PR07 is the perfect mod at the right time. I know that we've become a bit stale lately, and I know a lot of it has to do with the recent depressing state of the Pacers, but I'm glad to add PR07 as I know he has a lot of fresh ideas and still holds the passion burning bright for the Pacers and this forum.
