Mike Brown
Did anyone listen to the interview after the game? He said it was the worst call he has ever been apart of. Granger fouled Lebron but Lebron didnt foul Granger. He is ticked. He will get fined for this. I lost a lot of respect for him because of this. Same play same result. It was equal. Get over it. For once, Lebron got a call against him to cost him the game, and they can't handle that.

Didn't see the play, but don't argue with the refs for any reason, whatsover.

Re: Mike Brown
It was a genius play call really. It was identical to the one on the other end. I personally believe neither should be called, but NBA officials aren't as dumb as they are biased. All games are reviewed, and especially after Phil's comments about LeBron any official that only called that one way would be looking at a suspension. The Pacers gave them no choice but to call it.

Re: Mike Brown
Brown will undoubtedly be fined, and I agree -- neither foul should have been called.

Re: Mike Brown
The second foul - on Lebron - was a worse call than the one on Granger. Brown has no reason to be upset, as the game shouldn't have even been tied in the first place.
Plus, Danny still had to make that first free throw. Brown needs to get over it.

Re: Mike Brown
The first tip-in pass to LeBron should've never been called in the first place. There is an unwritten rule in basketball where the refs swallow their whistle in the closing seconds unless there is just blatant fouling. Granger actually made a pretty good play there. There was some contact, but both players are entitled to the ball. LeBron had a lot more contact on Granger in the Granger tip-in.
I'm glad Danny got some star treatment of his own, and how about the dagger free throw. He knew it was in as soon as it left his hand.

I was driving after the game had ended and espn radio had a good deal of coverage of the finish saying it was a instant classic and i think it made it a bit bigger of a ending that LeBron and Brown were very angry at the refs. The experts they had on the show agreed with you, and i agreed also once i saw the replay on ESPN when i got home. The first play (foul on Granger) seems like there was nothing at all. The game should have been over at that point, however they called it and then LeBron had more contact then Danny. It was a consistent call. But as the guys on espn radio said, if only one of those had to be called a foul, it would have been the second one, not the one on Danny.

Re: Mike Brown
I guess on the Cavs board they think that the first call was questionable and the second was horrible. I'm glad that the analysts disagreed with them and LeBron because otherwise I would need to be getting my eyes checked. I know LeBron's a passionate player and I understand him complaining to get the first call and complaining about the second, but if he honestly believes he made a cleaner play than Danny he needs to check into the rules. Contrary to popular belief, there's not one in there that says LeBron makes the calls.

Ha! I just watched this and Granger definitely did not foul LeBron - game should've been over. On the other end, LeBron puts a good amount of force into Granger - if you just made the call on Granger, you absolutely have to make the call on LeBron.

You know I admire Lebron but this crap of giving the superstar the calls all the time is one of the things that's wrong with the NBA, the players like Lebron, Kobe, Wade ect get used to getting the calls and then we get this kind of whining when he doesn't.

I have lost all respect for Brown. How can he say the refs gave the game to us, when they wouldn't even have been in the game without the refs. Mike Brown showed his true colors to me last night, very little class.
Maybe I'm being harsh, but to try to discredit our win is classless, especially when the refs almost have them the game. Had it actually been a foul on Granger, then I would understand where he was coming from, but it wasn't at all, and hes making excuses instead of manning up to the loss.

Brown is a bitter joke. He should have worried just a bit less about the referees and worried a little bit more about how in the world does LeBron James score 47 points, and the Cavs can't score over a 100 against a very poor defensive team. That would be my question if i was the coach of the Cavs.

From ESPN.com
"Cleveland is upset. But I can't see it: Those two foul calls were undeniably equivalent. The referee giveth, and the referee taketh away."
There is a good picture that clearly shows Lebron is making contact on the final play, but I don't know how to upload photos.

James knew exactly what he was doing, the only problem is, he got the call on the first play, and expected the super star call on the last play as well. It didn't happen that way and James is now upset.

You know why they call him "King James" right? The refs are his loyal servants.

If we were good we could have a little rivalry started. But uhh we need to win a few more games.

Granger is an all-star now, and while he may never get the calls LeBron gets, he's due for his fair share.

Yeah, it might help if we had won more than once in the past 10 games against them too, lol. We need some sort of rivalry now. Its hard to have them when you arent in the playoffs, but hopefully we rectify that this year.
