I couldn't help but notice that the Pacers board was at 999 topics, and this is #1000. A usually insignificant mark, but I think that all of us have done a good job to have this board be active once again.

So, happy #1000, everybody. Let's keep it up.

Hmmm, what if PP or PR07 just delete one and it goes back to 999, do we have to have another landmark thread? Interesting......

I haven't seen many threads get deleted. What's the purpose, anyway? All I know is, I don't recall the Pacers board ever having 1000 topics.

I've got nothing to say...I just wanted to be part of this historic moment.

I don't think it was reverse it a thread was deleted, but at this point I think another thread(s) would be created before anything would be deleted.

I pride us on the fact that we have one of the most active boards despite the small market, and our record.

Beware valuing post count. It is quality that matters, not quantity.

One post or thread that commands the attention of the reader and forces them to think and respond will spawn others. Those will attract the quality posters and quality discussions that make a board thrive and expand.

I think what Count is trying to say is check out my Tinsley thead/highlight reel. I think if some posters get behind it, those GMs just might believe it. My 1000th post is coming up, I will have to make sure it is in this thread.

With my 1000th post I would like to tell all reading this to join in on the All-Star weekend thread. I didn't see it at first because it's the top thread. Right now I am talking to myself in there. Go Pacers and RealGMers.
