Wizards might be looking to deal their 2009 pick due to financial reasons.

Is this something that could interest us?

Nice, get it done. If we got this pick, had our pick, and did my Shaq theory (getting the Suns pick this year and trading Shaq next year before the deadline when his $20 Million contract is very valuable for some youngsters and picks) then we would have a great group of young guys. It's what Portland did and they turned it around in 3 years, and now they have an amazing young core. If the Simons have the money I say we pull the trigger.

Seriously, I get way too excited about deadline day. It's like Christmas, and I can't sleep. I get my hopes up that we're going to get an awesome pick, and Shaq, and Michael Jordan. For once I am making some sense though, I think, maybe, probably not, but I could be, yes, but noone else thinks so, but okay. Lets say we have the 5th pick and the 10th pick (those are pretty reasonably low, I think) and possibly the 25th pick (my Shaq dream trade). We could easily trade up or trade the 10th and 25th for a pick next year or something. IF the Simons are willing to spend money the next 3 years, we could have 5-7 young guys with a lot of potential. Say 2 pan out to be good and then also having Granger and we would have a good team.

Sorry, I just get too excited and ramble-type for so long.

Actually my dream Shaq scenario we trade Rasho, Marquis, and Tinsley for Shaq and a first. Rasho and Marquis would have to go to the Wizards. So it might have to be Marquis, Tinsley, and Foster for Shaq and NO first (but we can get a first next year when we trade the expiring Shaq). Then we trade Rasho for crap and their pick.
