could the pacers have made a trade and we dont know about it. Like will they finally break the news later tonight or can they not trade after 3?

Some times trades come in later than the cut off time but the later it gets the less likely it is to happen. i think we're stuck with what we got, won't be any deals until the draft now.

Bird was making a lot of calls, but the Pacers website says that nothing happened.

Sometimes, deals come out about 2 hours or so after the deadline, but by mid-evening, you should hear something.

Like 5 years ago wasn't the deadline 6 or something? 3 seems early, especially if you are on the west coast and it's only 12. What if there is a Hawaiian team? It would only be 10 there! I think a team in Hawaii is a pretty bad idea, though. And by bad I mean awesome. And by Hawaii I mean Alaska. Huh?
