As cheap as $5. Check it out if you want to go to a game. We do play the Cavs 2nd to last game. Maybe the last game of the year will actually mean something!

If any mod doesn't feel this is thread worthy please move it to the OT thread.

As far as the club-level and balcony-level seats, they've been running this promo at least a few times a month, the entire season.

Yeah, I have noticed the $10 balcony for $5, but not the $25. Plus I didn't know if anyone has missed it.

I don't understand why I see all those empty seats every game, this is almost for free.

Because the fans from The Netherlands and Australia aren't coming to the games! Pay the $1000 roundtrip ticket, the $5 Pacer ticket to sit in the top row, and it's a fun 2 days (most of which is on a plane).

It's basically less than a movie or most other entertainment options. It seems like a great thing to take the family to one night, and if I lived in Indy I'd be there every game. $5? Are you kidding me? Take advantage of it while it lasts.

Add in $15 for parking anywhere around Conseco, and then possibly concessions, and you're looking at a much more expensive night than a movie night. Also, there's just a lot of people that don't want to be going to downtown Indy at 8 PM, when they have to work at 7:30 AM or 8 AM the next morning.

I park right across the street from Delaware & South Towing (RIGHT NEXT to Conseco) for $3 every game.

There is a lot ONE block from the $3 lot that only charges $2! If you are worried about the one panhandler that is under the railroad tracks before every game, you can park in the 'Conseco parking garage' for a mere $8 or the rooftop of the same lot for only $3.

As a season ticket holder for the last season and a half, the attendance has been quite depressing.....If someone is on the fence about heading downtown for a game, please don't discourage them by claiming outragous prices that are completely untrue.

Additionally, to the average fan, attending a game is a 'luxury'. If someone is paying for high dollar or even face value ticket prices, they probably have the means to buy concessions to enhance their 'luxury experience' and these same people will proboblay buy the tickets no matter what the team's record is. However, if someone is looking for bargain basement prices on tickets to the game, they are probably only coming to the game because the team record is bad and the tickets are cheap, so they shouldn't care much about the cost of concessions. Remember, they do have the option to eat before the game and bring a sealed bottled water from home.

I didn't think Staples was anything special. I was kind of disappointed.

A - That panhandler is a quiet fella who doesn't harm a soul
B - I agree with everything that you said.

They wanted to make it good for the Lakers and bad for the Clippers, so they picked something in-between. The best I've been at thus far (I've not been to Conseco yet) is the Phoenix Suns' arena. Southwest Airlines Arena I think is what it is.

Sorry to claim the high prices there (I was assuming the parking prices were the same as the Colts or close to even the Indians, but I guess the Pacers might subsidize the parking costs if it's only $2 or $3...which is cheaper than parking by the hour at any time downtown), but my point still remains. Gas, the time, and one of a million other reasons could exist as to not go to a game.

Now, my reasons are different. Conseco Fieldhouse is just a scant 6 hour drive away from me now. Still made it to a Pacers game for my Bachelor Party, but the place was empty on a Saturday night. Made it from the cheap seats to 5 rows off the court at halftime.

Do they let you bring water from home? I tried to, and they made me throw it out, and it wasn't open. And then I got a bottled water during the game (ripppp-off, but I needed something non-alcoholic to quench my thirst). They took off the top and wouldn't let me keep it because "fans throw them on the court". If I wanted to throw stuff on the court I would bring some pennies. I wanted me $3 bottled water to have a cap to put on top!

Is the "no beer sold in the 4th" an NBA-wide rule?

For my 21st bday my bro got me tix to the Bobcats game (he got them for free, of course. 3 of my cousins were there, too). We had lower level seats so you could go to the locker room restaurant. The sold drinks all night long. My brother knew the bartender and got a bunch of free drinks. So we stayed about an hour later in the restaurant hanging out. 3 of us left, and we didn't know where my brother was. Later we find him and my cousin in Broad Ripple with the basketball nets around their necks which they took off after the game. I have no idea how they didn't get caught.
