Well, our Pacer's season is over, but there will still be some NBA basketball. I thought we could do something like an NCAA tournament bracket, but with the playoffs. 1 point for correctly picking the 1st round, 2 for second, 4 for third, and 8 for the finals. I was also thinking about doing extra points for upsets possibly? I don't know how to do it exactly, and if people think it's dumb that is fine. It would be something like if you pick the Lakers to lose in the first round you get bonus points--something like taking the seed # (which would be 8), divide it by 2 (to get 4) and add the one point for getting it right in the first round for a total of 5 points. This may only work for the 1-8 and 2-7 match-ups. It doesn't matter to me if we do it, but it does add a fun twist.

Okay, I like to keep things organized so here's how it'll work:

We use the scoring system set up by chatard, which is the same as NCAA bracket. However, I think that to make upsets simpler, you get double what the points would be for that round. You predict an upset in round 1, it's 2 points total. Predict an upset in the Conference Finals, and it's 8 points total awarded.
