Reggie's Mailbag

Post#1 » by Miller4ever » Sun May 3, 2009 6:12 am

Here's my question to Reggie after seeing a bunch of teams go small:

"Some teams are seeing some success using three guards or even four
guards in a lineup (Chicago against Boston). Do you think the future of
the NBA is in the little guys or is it an unsustainable strategy?"

His response

"Big always wins..."

I chuckled a little cause in my head I was like, "that's what she said".

I'd have to agree. Going small helps sometimes, but it can't be depended on.

T.J., Diener, and Jack lineup made me want to cry.

Very cool to know that he really responds.

He does respond, but it's usually a one-word answer. I made sure to form my questions so it wasn't a yes-no, and I got triple the usual response...

You should ask him if he'd consider returning to Indiana in the front office. ;)
