As the AFROTOP turns

After diligently scouring the internets for at least a solid 10 minutes, I've found evidence that shows that our boy Brandon Rush has had difficulty figuring out just what to do with his hair for quite some time now. Below you will see my findings. Beware, some of the images may be a bit disturbing to the eyes.

Exhibit A & B:

This photo is from Brandon's Senior year of high school. This appears to be when the AFROTOP was at it's highest level of "topism". The sides look pretty short and well kept, while the top is a solid 3-4 inches off the top of his dome.

Exhibit C:
Image
I don't really know what to say about this one. This is a school photo from his Freshman year at KU. Here Brandon takes on a James Earl Jones style approach, sans the grey hair.

Exhibit D & E:
Image
Patriotic Brandon! Looks like he's rocking the mini-fro here, just might need picked out.
Image
Donnie was NOT impressed with the FRO!

Exhibit F:
Image
Consevative Brandon. Clean cut and ready to handle his business. Maybe a front office position with the Ps once he retires?

Exhibit G:
Image
This was obviously a transitional phase for Brandon. The do could barely be contained even with headgear.

Exhibit H:

AFROTOP!! If this term could ever be used to describe his hair, it's stems from this picture. Almost completely flat across the top, yet blown out on the sides.

Disclaimer:
Not having games to attend or any real news about the team is really wearing thin with me right about now. This leads to ridiculous threads such as this. I can not promise that this will or will not be the last crazy thread that I make. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Buzz cut would probably fit him best (#1 or #2 cut), but as long as he keeps playing like the way he ended off the season, he could roll with a mushroom cut and I wouldn't give a sh*t.

Hibbert's hair was pretty ridiculous too when he was in college. Thank the lord he cut it.

True story!

Hibby even had to take a second to look at the jumbotron to see how crazy it looked.

This just shows how out of touch I've become with IU basketball since the Kelvin Sampson debacle. I had no idea that Rivers transferred here.

I wonder which cut it is that gives him his powers?

Yeah, he transferred to IU last summer. He is eligible to play next year.

Awesome, now IU will have players better than me! Ok, they were already better, but I had friends that went to IU that possibly could've walked on (Offered scholarships from good D2 schools, but didn't want to go to a random small school). I am excited for IU, in a few years under Crean they will be good. Plus Purdue is really good now. The rivalry has always been there, but it's obviously a lot better when both teams are good.

cdash: What do you know about Rivers? Why did he choose IU?

Mostly because of the availability of playing time, and he likes Crean. I really don't know much about him. Not sure if he starts at the point next year or if Jordan Hulls will start. Hulls will be a freshman, but I personally like him better than Rivers. I do know Rivers is the best defender on the team though.
