Sorry i can't seem to make the table right.

I just noticed that these four attendees are undersized pf's, and also all in their senior year in college.

I really don't know "Tyrell Biggs the basketball" player at all. I do know "Tyrel Biggs the boxer", the one who fought Mike Tyson.

And Aboya looks a lot like Roy Hibbert. lol. A smaller Roy Hibbert.

Adrien's probably the best among them. He's a hustler, a workhorse on the inside, he plays like Blair but with limited offense.

Gaffney's interesting. I never knew he averages 3.8 bpg. Well, he's athletic, he's a good leaper and very very energetic.

Though i believe Adrien's the only one who'll get drafted.

I posted something similar in the draft prospects thread, but it is probably better to have it's own thread. Out of these guys, I like Gaffney. I have read some great things about him and his work ethic.

I'm with you, but the fact that we are looking at undersized players worries me.

Looking back through, no other team is listed for all three workouts. If we do make any draft-day deals we'll certainly be prepared to pick anywhere.

According to hoopshype, we worked out AZ's Chase Budinger, Pitt's Sam Young, Mizzou's DeMare Carroll, USC's Taj Gibson, St. Joe's Ahmad Nivins, and North Dakota State Brett Winkleman today.

I'd love to have Chase Budinger late in round 1 if the Pacers could somehow find a way to get another pick. Good leader, high basketball iq, good on defense and clutch shooter.

Wow, another batch of pretty undersized pf's eh?

Chase Budinger's a superb athlete. But something tells me he's not gonna standout. Serviceable, yes. But an all-star, maybe no. I really do think he's gonna have a career like Brent Barry at worst, and a high-flying Jason Kapono at best.

I don't like Carroll in the 2nd rd. I find him slow and not that athletic enough. He's good in making himself open in the paint though, but there are more guys that are way better than him in terms of size, strength, and potential.

Taj Gibson, is a nice post-up guy, and a decent defensive player too. One of my personal favorites in this draft class but i don't think he'll get past the first round.

Ahmad Nivins - this guy deserves to be in the mock drafts. He's got a solid all-around game, from post-ups to mid range jumpers. He's pretty strong too. I'll take him in the 2nd rd.

I don't know that much about Winkelman but he's really small.

Sam Young would be a decent sf in the NBA. He's got range, athleticism, and a scorer's mentality. He would be a reach at 13 though but i really think he could turn out to be another Thaddeus Young down the road. I like Sam Young, but obviously, he wouldn't fit in with the Pacers current roster.

why are we working out 6-6 to 6-9 guys?

We have a bunch of swingmen (Danny, Rush, Quisy, Graham, Mikey D, Jack) and yes I do realise we may not resign some of them but still why would we want an undersized PF?

As for Carrol, I would love to have him in the 2nd round. He has a good stroke and shows great heart and hustle.

I'm not a fan of this draft at all at least not the lottery. I bet we end up with a PG because of the players available around our position. Sucks cause we need an athletic big.

We need athleticism from 1-5. Granger and Rush are decent athletes, but their backup? Dunleavy, Marquis, Stephen Graham, Jarrett Jack? In the post? Foster? Rasho? Hibbert? Murphy? Weak. We either lack size or speed at basically every position except the starting 2-3.
