TJ Ford starts a blog

Post#1 » by Grang33r » Sat May 23, 2009 4:16 am

Pretty cool. Just something little and fun to read during the dog days this summer. Check it out if you're bored. But TJ Ford joined up with the Yardbarker to blog. Ford just posted his first entry yesterday.

A paragraph from his first entry-

This will be my 7th season coming up and I really feel that this will be the year for me to shine bright. I feel like I took enough time off to let my mind, body, and soul heal now its time to get back to business. I'm going to be working out this summer at the University of Texas with guys like LaMarcus Aldridge, Dj Augustin, and Kevin Durant to help keep my game sharp. I want to be in top form when I get back to Indy, so I'll be getting after it hard this summer. Last season wasn't what we had hoped for, but 2009 is a new year, and we'll give it all we got. What do you guys think we have in store for us this year?

Yeah, Grang33r, it has been nice having you post so often. "I like it a lot" (in dumb and dumber voice). TJFIG where have you been? You missed out on the mock draft game.

^I've been around, my last post was a couple days ago laughing at lebrons loss. I was getting ready to do it again, then he shut me up with that buzzer beater.

Ah Damn I can't believe I missed the mock draft. Next year I guess :(

Great to see you as a forum regular again Grang33r. More TJ Ford gifts for me!! :D

p.s. found some Granger sigs if you're interested, or anyone else

Speaking of Jack, that second sig would be more appropriate with Jarrett Jack on there.

Dibs on Diogu! Those Reggie ones are pretty cool, thanks. Someone better get dibs on Tinsley, and fast.

Thanks for the Sig's TJFIG, those Reggie Miller ones are badass.

Nice too see TJ is getting at it this offseason, I really think if he can train hard and stay healthy he could take his game to an allstar level.

The first thing that comes to mind that TJ needs to work on this summer is his decision making. Hopefully that's incorporated in his training. That, and finishing around the rim. What good is it being quick and blowing by your defender if you can't finish?

Well if you're quick enough, then odds are most people will miss it. Works well as when you get it wrong people are often left scratching their heads, trying to contemplate if it even happened.

I am a nerd and follow TJ on Twitter. I think he was actually at the Magic game tonight. Anyways, I was reading his "tweets" and he was saying, well, I will just go find his posts and paste them. He sounds like he wants to work hard and win.

"What a feel'n!!! Hve to get on this stage... Hungry for success!! For the time being just going to enjoy the moment!! NBA PLAYOFFS"

"This **** is crunk.. Man I LOVE THIS GAME!!!"

I don't know half the words he used, but you get the idea. Hopefully he works real hard and can bring us there. If he wasn't watching this game I would say do some more practicing and less goofing on on Twitter.
