Tough call, and awkward spot for Detroit here.

They don't need a PG or combo guard type player with Stuckey there. They have Prince at the SF spot. They have Hamilton for now at SG, but are likely looking to move him for some value. They really have holes at the PF/C spots though with McDyess and Rasheed Wallace likely to walk this offseason. They'd have to hope that Maxiell and Amir can finally put it together and handle the PF spot, though.

That's why I went with Mullens. He's at a position they clearly need, and he is the best available at that position. He's also likely not being picked too far from where his value lies at this point.

I like this spot for Detroit. Hard to make a bad decision. Hansbrough or Johnson could come in and be productive. Mullens and Daye have huge upside. But I would say why pay Ben Gordon 11 million when you can get Jeff Teague on the cheap. OW. That hurt writing - I would hate to see the hometown guy playing for Detroit. Trade Blair for Teague and Maxiell maybe?

Because Ben Gordon is much, much, much better than Teague.

Ben Gordon isn't worth $11 million, though, which is why I hope he signs for Detroit for $11 mill.

I'm not so sure that Teague can't be Gordon-like or better. He's a Hoosier  - and Wake Forest has a good track record as far as NBA success is concerned.

I'm pretty sure that Teague does not have what it takes to be as good as BG, at least not on offense. Say what you want about him being a black hole and what not, but when he gets hot, he is almost impossible to stop. I think Wake's track record of NBA success is independent of this. Duncan and CP3 both played for different coaches.

I'm going with Maynor. I think he'd be a good pick here.

I voted for Johnson. Not sure he's the best guy on the board but, he brings a combination of skills that could get him on the floor on occasion.

Stuckley has been a disappointment for them as he's not the true #1 at PG, thus i think they will select Ty Lawson.

I actually kinda like Stuckey, for being a Piston. Sheed is gone. Can Amir Johnson step in? Probably not, gotta get a big guy. I will be pissed if my guy Eric Maynor ends up on the Pisstons. I went with Austin Daye because I don't think he will be very good, he is big, and I don't like Detroit.
