Just curious. I want to chat during the draft. Hopefully if you go to the party you can post a little bit.

I'll be at the party, so no posting out of me.

last year I got there around 7 and couldn't find a seat and went home. if you are going, you need to get there early. hope 6:15 is early enough.

I'll be there with my gang. We got there a little after 6 last year and had a blast.

I worked at the flagstar bank at the time right by conseco so i got there right after work at 530. there was a good amount of people there then too. i want to go, but ive been talking myself out of it all week for some reason.

Why would you talk yourself out of witnessing a monumental draft for our franchise?

I've been telling myself that this draft is going to do something to change our team's fortunes for the better. Not really sure why. I just envision something important happening for us on draft night.

I will be at home and on-line, checking out the trades and picks. I'd like to go to the party, but I am more comfortable expressing anger while not in public.

I will be a game-time decision. I am also talking myself out of it, probably because I don't want to be upset at Conseco after we draft some dipsh*t with the 13th pick.

I'll be there, sitting next to Dunthreevy....with my one month old in my lap, so he can get an early taste of Passion, Pride, Pacers!

lol i'll be on-line.... for those of not going, would it be better to talk on forum or chat room like for games?

well i live in anderson, and really just dont want to drive there. lol i hate driving. also my buddies arent huge pacer fanatics like all of us, so i would be going alone.

That's unfortunate. I have a buddy up in Muncie I was trying to talk into going but he doesn't want to drive, either, even though I offered to drive from Castleton where I work. Eventually I just asked the guy I take care of 3 nights a week if he wanted to go so I wouldn't be going alone. He's not too much into the NBA but a huge college basketball fan so maybe useful for the later picks that I haven't seen play.

I work well i should say worked in castleton, thats the flagstar i transfered to. im laid off at the moment. they only have me come in to cover shifts. you ever eat at 5 guys. yummy. they have one in noblesville now which rocks.

I've been told it's really great food there, but I haven't stopped in yet. I'm going to have to go on a weekend or something. After work I'm really not in the mood to deal with Castleton traffic any more than I have to. I-69 is absolutely maddening in the 0.5 miles I have to be on it. In December I took a 6-hour trip up to my home town of Portland, which is 1.5 hours away. Since then I think I get PTSD just thinking about it!

I like watching on TV to hear all the crazy rumors. You guys need to have internet on your phones and we can give you updates.

They actually play the draft on a big screen above the stage that they have set up with the draft board. Even so, I'll have my G1 working overtime checking realgm and ESPN Insider.

I haven't been to a draft party since the year we too Reggie Miller, I still here the morons boing! ha! Steve who? I think we got that one right. Let's hope we get lucky and find us another Danny Granger wasn't he a 17th pick or something? I'd like to go to the party but my back is acting up and there's no way not in this heat!

I've decided against going, so if anyone wants to chat about it, I'll be on my laptop while watching.
