Bird mentions on Kravitz & Eddie, that Danny Granger, Brandon Rush and Roy Hibbert are the only untouchable Pacers in trade talks. He also minimizes the importance of the workouts and reiterates that he has four players on his radar and he expects at least three of them to be available.

I still have no idea why Foster is considered an untouchable. I love the guy to death, but I consider productivity and winning to be of higher importance than favoritism to a player.

If anyone else other than Bird was in charge I would agree with you. That and that we just signed him to a 2 year extension. But I look at it this way. The only way we would trade a player like Jeff is for a young player. If we did that we would have IMO too young of a team. You need a player like Jeff to keep the young ones in line.

There are only like 3 players in this league that truly are untouchable. Glad, they aren't being discussed in trade talks though.

Untouchable is just a term, obviously if the Bulls offered us Rose for Hibbert we would accept, we all know what he means.
I dont see Foster being traded unless a similar situation as I mentioned above comes up, not while Larry Bird is the GM.
