McRoberts isn't, nor has he ever come close, to showing that he's in Hansbrough's class.

Hansbrough outplayed and humiliated McRoberts in every matchup. McRoberts gets to be the 3rd PF/2nd or 3rd center (if Foster gets moved).

Great...another fundamental player. I'm tellin you we need someone that other teams are going to have problems wit. Hansbrough is a role player and really doesn't help us defensively. I think Bird is tryna get fired...NO WAY DOES THIS PICK HELP BRING IN MORE MONEY!!! He better hope Hansbrough is a beast. To me he looks like another Croshere.

I love the pick, this guy was hated in college for getting dirty and on occasion playing.

I think the article on him last week said it best. The guy lost a contact, got nailed in the fact, had a bleeding nose AND STILL DOMINATED the competition.

Analysis: He's the ACC's all-time leading scorer, a good guy and the proverbial hard worker. He has more skill than he's given credit for, but he also got just about every call in college and scored a lot of baskets off weird trajectory shots that will be swatted in the NBA. And he's 6-8ish and doesn't appear capable of guarding power or small forwards. Other than that, he's great. Who knew MJ would make a better pick than Larry Bird? -- Dan Wetzel

But I do hope he's a keeper at 13. Otherwise, would've made sense to make the deal with CHI. But, who knows? Some players mocked to be picked at the 2nd Rd (i.e. (Beaubois, Carroll, Claver) are getting drafted in the 1st. So there could be surprises in store.

i think hansbrough will be a good player in the NBA for a long time, but i would still have takin holliday....

Big, strong, athletic, and skilled. What's the problem here? If he was black he would have been a top 10 lock.
